Yesterday started out almost the same as today. Last night's cycle was identical to the previous nights. Over 8 hours in the blue! Now if we could just not duplicate yesterday morning's B .... still TBD.

Today is the start of window replacement and strange men making scary noises in the house. :evil: :shock: We had a plan where the installers would start on the downstairs, where I could block off all the rooms getting new windows and the kittens would have the rest of the house to roam, to ease them into the disruption. The guys showed up without their diamond saw blade (downstairs is stucco) :roll: , so they are working on the upstairs and the kitties are stuck in the rec room. Sigh! After some hurried clearing out the upstairs window area and getting the downstairs ready for the cats, I am spending time with the cats. Neko is pretty content to hang out near her auto feeder and Theo is in my lap. I guess they are more relaxed than I thought they would be. They also have access to DH's office, which is one of Neko's favourite spots because the air vent blows onto a shelf by the window. It's a very nice warm viewing area. I am curious to see what the days to do Neko's numbers, and yesterday is a good day to compare against.

Neko and Theo are very brave! Hope all goes smoothly. Nice blue, Neko, lets stay on this floor, ok?

Much better than yesterday when she zoomed to 345 at this point. It's an interesting experiment having the two back to back days with almost exact cycles to compare. I'm hoping that this lower number means her liver is learning something. Or maybe she goes lower when she is stressed? But she is acting just fine. Neko wanted out of the room at one point but it is a little quieter here. The furnace is on the other side of the wall and providing a bit of white noise. With the windows open/out, I expect it'll be running a lot today.

@Liz - The kitties are being very brave indeed. Neko has already used the LB I moved into the rec room and both seem pretty chilled. She may be back to visit the blue floor later. I'm just happy it's not pink!

It sounds like the kitties are doing fine with the window installation going on. Hopefully it will stay that way. It probably helped that you were with them for some of the time. I hope Neko gives you some more blue soon.

Hey Wendy: are you guys getting the hideous wind and rainstorms? We have another one moving thru this afternoon/evening. Really ramped up the wind at lunchtime and now it's simply POURING again. Sigh. I'm already sick of winter and technically we are still just in FALL! haven't had time to post Rupies condo today, he's at 127 at lunchtime (+6) though, so hopefully Neko will go join him!

Way to turn it around Neko! cat_pet_icon A much shorter bounce than yesterday. The scary mans are almost gone now, just working on cleanup now. The rooms with the new windows are noticeably warmer. Should have done this years ago. Tomorrow when they cut the stucco its supposed to be REALLY LOUD! Not looking forward to that.

@Carla - I think you are right on me being there. Theo is glued to my arm making it difficult to type and Neko is just a couple of feet away.

@Pip - Good to see Rupert and Neko playing on the blue floor together. I think you guys have been getting worse rain that us. I was out a bit today and it wasn't raining at all, 5 minutes later it was, then 1/2 hour later it wasn't. It should be worse against the mountains here, but not today. We got spoiled by the early fall weather for sure.

@Melissa - Day 1 almost done. Other than cutting out the old windows, it's a fairly quiet job. Neko has never been fond of home "improvements".

HI guys nice numbers today! Sometimes bg's can go lower when they are stressed. It stinks having scary men in the house! Hope your project goes quick!

Just managed to hang onto the yellow. I was expecting much higher, she was STARVING for almost an hour before dinner. I was trying to nap and DH was surprised how long I held off before getting up with all that ruckus from the kitchen. :lol:

@Michelle - Neko and Scrabble are almost the same tonight! The guys got 6 of 13 windows in, but just roughed in so need more work. I think it's going to take the 4 days, but depends on how many people are working on them. Most of the noise is outside, but carries well inside.

That's great that she had such a nice blue cycle this morning with the window guys there! Im sure she and Theo were glad when they had their house to themselves again until tomorrow.

I suspect she zoomed up a bit after PS and is now on her way down. We had lots of "I'm starving" noises again and they are just easing off now. Similar to this mornings +4, hoping she'll get a little blue action over night.

@Marje - The kitties were chomping at the bit to get into the rest of the house once the noisy men were gone. I was quite pleased to see blue during the day.

@Michelle - Thanks for visiting. You must be exhausted (in a good way) from DGS today.
 
Sounds like you are more stressed about the windows than the kitties :lol:

Great to see Neko staying steadyish!
