Yesterday was a yellow day and blue night. I suspect there was a little :mrgreen: in the wee hours.

11/19 Recap:

It looks like getting up at +8 was a waste of a good sleep. Neko kept on sliding and did her nadir around PS this time. But I do have a hard time going to sleep and staying there when she's at 126 and hasn't hit onset yet. Still learning Neko on Levemir. She's still tricking me. :roll: :lol: :lol: And of course the civie took the opportunity of me being up to demand going under the down quilt when I went btb. Which means I can't sleep for fear or closing off his access to air. It's cute, but I've got to stop being such a softie in the middle of the night.

Neko was, as ever, very eager for breakfast. Something about a green start makes her even more so. I heard the carpet on the stairs being scratched before the alarm went off. I know that's her. :evil: She's currently sleeping innocently on her bed on the floor beside me. That's a bit surprising because it's sunny out.

I think I'll have to get out and do some leaf raking. Yesterday's wind brought down most of the rest. Maybe Neko will join me later.

Maybe if Neko just walks through the yard, she'll pick up the leaves on her fur? :lol: :lol: Back to the grotto, Neko, nothing interesting up there. I am a classic cross-country skier. There is a cross-country ski area with groomed trails for skating but it's about 20 miles away and I would rather go somewhere closer, which usually means breaking my own trail. At least it's a good workout. :lol: :lol:

Hi Wendy! Leaf raking sounds like a great way to enjoy a sunny day. I hope Neko roused herself long enough to join you and get some fresh air :-D Curious; why the switch to Lev?
Thanks for stopping by today. I think I set my calipers too low as I forgot to look where I had them on the last dose. I reset them tonight and WROTE the numbers down...duh. I think I'm gonna try this setting for a couple cycles then if no change I will go back up. Sound good?

Sure like seeing Neko back in the greens here and there..... now if she could just make it a regular thing....

Neko is so good at bring in leaves..... she should be out helping.

And back around we go. I didn't get out leaf raking. When I came back from physio I didn't want to stress the elbow. That plus it's starting to feel cold. Mid 30's F and supposed to get down to mid 20's overnight. I harvested the carrots from outside and a bunch of my peppers from the solarium. Neko wasn't interested in going out. It's forecast dry the rest of the week, lots of time to rake.

@Liz - Neko used to like playing in the leaf piles, but I think it's too cold for her now. She spends a lot more time inside so isn't as used to cold. Cool having ski-able trails near home. Our closest groomed area is probably 15-20 minutes drive up a mountain.

@Carla - Green was great to see. Cats are specialists in being unpredictable. :lol:

@Kim - Both Neko and I were too lazy to rake leaves. :lol: The main reason for the switch to Lev is that I was going crazy with Neko only going low at night. I had tried switching out as many things as I could to break the pattern. She's only done her lowest lows at night since February. Turns out Lev didn't make any difference. :YMSIGH: On the plus side, her cycles do tend to be flatter which has got to be better for her. When I've got the dose right, there is much less pink. I replied in your condo about dose.

@Rhiannon - Neko would probably be green more if I would stop fur shotting. ohmygod_smile RIght now there are cedar twigs all over the lawn, Neko is great at bring those in too.

Hi Wendy,

Sounds like a pretty nice day in your neck of the woods. Neko's cycles may not be exactly what you would want to see, but they are certainly creative. We are all waiting for the snow to fall so we can ski and snowshoe. One of our X-country places raised its season-pass rate this year and we really don't want to pay that much, so we'll probably just go out in the woods.

Enjoy the evening. Hope you got your harvest in before the freeze.
