Yesterday was ....... RAINBOW KITTY day in MannieLand. I SWEAR that dosecrease threats work! or... another testimonial for patience does work. It was a nice day for him, a bit extreme in that we hit all colors except for the green one. Rumor has it that the Blue Mannie Group was found jammin' live at Rusty's... on the radiators... by the woodstove... Well done Mannie!!! I sure like those blues. It was nice to see you find them again. Maybe we can try for that again today... Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Yesterday was SO WET here in the PNW. The rains did not stop all day, heavy soak you in one minute rains. And the winds.... there is nothing like cold rains being driven by winds. :lol: :lol: I have a healthy respect for all those on the east coast who have been through so much more. What a nasty day along the west coast yesterday, and today is predicted to be much like yesterday. It was a perfect day for indoors, woodstoves, and hot chocolate. Mannie got two out of the three, seemed a bit miffed when he didn't get any hot cocoa. No wonder Mannie was curled up in his bed with a nanner or two. He spent most of yesterday there. It was either the nasty weather - or he got wind of the fact that DGS will be here one day early this week, so he is conserving his energy. :lol: :lol: :cool: This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and lots of cuddles. Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. I am back on DGS duty today and tomorrow. The other set of grandparents are going on vacation so I will have him M-F for two weeks, starting this Monday. :shock: :cool: Today will be a swim day for Nicholas, and then hopefully we can find a nice outdoor spot, maybe the beach, or a creek today if it is not too cold, or wet. He still loves the rivers, so I hope to be able to get to one. Not too sure at this point if that will be doable or not. I will try and get to condos when I can, but probably not until late in the evening. There is just no time when he is here.. I will miss you guys - and your furkids. Think blue think green kitties!

Hey everybody! What's up! I am so blech on this rain!! I NEED SUN! SO.... how about the dunes, or a beach? We can work on our tans, and maybe have an outdoor cookout. Maybe even a short road trip in the furrari, top down, sun on our faces, winds in our whiskers. What'd'ya think? You guys in? Let me know - I am ready for anything! ~ Mannie

Morning Michelle, it's amazing what a dose threat will do at times. Oh how nice with today and tomorrow and then two weeks with DGS. I hope Mannie gives permission for a day adventure. That's too bad with the rain. I hope there's a chance it lets up. You mentioned yesterday about getting a different meter. I didn't get back on to ask which one. Right now I'm using the Arkay Vital and the Relion Confirm as back-up. Have a great day with Nicholas and look forward to pics.

Hey Mannie, I think we all need some sun. We can do both the dunes and the beach. What do ya think. We will have sun this afternoon. Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) yupp on the dose threats. I hope I don't have to repeat it - Ia so hoping for a good day for him. It will be insanely busy when I have DGS all week for the next three, :shock: :shock: :shock: but a ton of fun too. I think we will get that permission slip today, but I never assume with Mannie - he so likes to shake tings up. ;-) Me too on the rains! they are coming though.... we will hope for a midday break. on the meter: it is a WaveSense Presto. I really like it, and about ready to make the switch.

Morning guys! Well we both had a rainbow kitty yesterday and stinky pinky today, think Scrabble and Mannie were partying too hard last night! Sorry about the yucky weather, I like it sometimes but I do hate to be stuck inside. Sounds like fun having DGS duty for 2 weeks wow! Mannie will be having some fun with that! 233 @ +8. WOW - this is almost a repeat of yesterday... almost. I am glad to see that he hasn't spiked up! YAY!

Nicholas and I have just come home form a long solid morning of swimming. He was in that water for three hours, and even then I had to Drag him out. What a great time for him. It was another day of non-stop motion. He loves to jump in, once again it was over and over and over... He is now zoned out on the floor - sound asleep... Mannie kept him company for a few minutes.


HI Devon - That he did, and so we did. Swimming!!! I an so see him thinking that too: "silly hoomans. I know what good: fleece and nanners, you can have the cold and the wet and the winds.... "On yes on those two weeks - a given on those naps... wear him out: any grandmother's creed. :lol: :lol: and me: crash mode after he goes home... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hi Mary - That thought has made my day. I am lad that others enjoy our adventures. It is nice to be able to share. LOL on your son... sounds like my two boys - not even remotely close to any of this. ;-)

HI Barb - That it was, so off we went! I keep telling him though that a blue permission slip would work too. lately he seems to prefer the yellow ones. :roll: :lol: WOW - we made your news with our weather - it was awful yesterday - lots of flooding and swollen rivers, just a big mess. Today is a bit better - at lest we are getting a few sun breaks now and then. YAY!

Hi Lisa - oh my YES on the sleep!! It is non-stop with this little guy, partly by my choice the other half just him being clsoe to a 2 yr old. he never sits still unless I can get him to nap...which takes an act of congress... I think I will more than likely fit in the zombie category by friday.... :-D :lol: :lol: I hope Leo is being a good boy... and surfing nicely now.

Hi Michelle - that we did, and back to that darn pink. I hate pink.At least he seems to be bringing it down some. We seem to have gotten a break with the weather, so hope to get DGS out in it before it changed again... oh yes on those two weeks. :-D :-D It will be fun! and tiring... ;-)

I almost hope so. he really does need to spend more time on the better floors... but right you are - one never knows with him... flipping a coin is better odds... :roll: me too on the drying out. Such a cute picture of Nicholas and Mannie - they really do look like best buds. Three hours swimming? I'm tired just thinking about it. Mannie - come on down to the blue floor. Neko took a quick peak up to yellow to find you, but now she's waiting for the BMG to start up again. Tonight maybe?

Mannie, you are the perfect guardian for Nicholas (as long as he is asleep!). Great pic.

3 hours of swimming to make up for the terrible weather. I'll bet the boy is tired tonight. Sorry to hear that your weather is not improving, Michelle. The PNW storms are news on the radio here, too. I hope you don't lose any of your trees. Central Park lost over 80 of its most mature, beautiful trees in the hurricane. The city in general lost 4000 trees.

Looks like the Blue Mannie Group is ready to rock tonight. Go Mannie!!

199 @ PMPS. WOO HOO! We are Blue!! And... so far, the Blue Mannie group is warming up.... jammin' we hope tonight. :-D

Sorry for the short update... but I am beat, and have a ton of things to get done... Thanks Ella, Barb, Ann, Patty, Wendy, Leslie, and Sienne for visiting Mannie. YUPP: 3 hours in that pool - unreal!! I know he will sleep tonight. :-D :-D I LOVE that photo - Mannie was in the hallway, so I brought him into the room. He dd the rest on his own. It was a very short perch on DGS, but I though it was so cute. GO MANNIE! For one I had a camera!!! :shock: :shock:

Ella - so I have heard: that our weather has made the national news. It was such a mess yesterday - flooding everywhere, trees down, rivers are running very high, etc. Not too bad though on the trees... Nothing though compared to the loss of those trees in Central park - wow... I will have to read more and see what kind of stats we have for our area. Things are better today, another one due in tonight, I think...

Lisa - thx - I could not believe that he even stayed there, on top of Nicholas. impressed! It was short, but he did stay. I think the ASLEEP part was the key factor. :lol:

Michelle, I've seen all the news report about the horrible weather y'all are having. I hope it clears up soon, especially for Thanksgiving.

What an adorable picture of Mannie and Nicholas. No wonder Nicholas is zonked out after all that swimming. You must have been exhausted just looking at him jumping in and out of the pool. You have way more energy that I do. :-D

What a great photo...that is so precious and I'm glad Bear made it into the photo. You keep Mike entertained with Bear...he never knows where Bear will show up :-D
