Morning ~O) ~O) all is well with Maggie today! Really looking forward to Mannie's Espresso and coffee delivery. It seems a pattern to stat out with a sunny yellow and slide down and back up for the PMPS. I gave Mags a pokecation last night! She was so chatty last night. Each time I got up to see what she wanted, only to have her hide under the kitchen chair. She wanted to play, but I was so sleepy. :-D This kept up several times until I finally caught Mags and picked her up and took her to bed. I fell asleep and in the morning found her asleep in the living room. :-D I'm happy she feels so well.
I ran out of Relion Confirm strips, so a trip to Walmart is in order. This is my back-up meter, and I hate to be without it. I never made it to TJ's yesterday. I got too involved in the insurance stuff and phone calls and it got too late. I knew the store would be jammed at that hour, and it has a small parking lot, so maybe today if I can get out the door early enough and have energy for both store.
Vines and prayers to all kitties needing them and also to Beans not feeling well with the seasonal viruses/colds, flu.

Awww...Maggie, a bean's gotta sleep! My Frankie is the same way...she's always waking us up in the middle of the night to play. I'm glad to hear Maggie is feeling so well!!!

Have a great day today..yes, I would definitely head to those particular stores nice and early - I'm sure they'll be madhouses later on!

Amy, with the middle of wake-up calls from Maggie and Frankie. we need to work out a plan for them to have a sleepover at another Bean's house, and then we can both sleep thru the night. :lol: I don't remember when I've ever had five hours of straight sleep!

Nice +3 there Maggie! Sounds like she is feeling really well. That is the best news. I would get there early as well. I went to Walmart at noon the other day and it was crazy crazy. Have a wonderful day Ann!!

I think I like this new patten of Mags: a low sunny yellow, with a slide into the blues and/or greens. Maggie - you simply must come and teach Mannie how to do that. :-D He so needs a refresher course.

Maggie is such a nocturnal kitty - with the night time play. My Elsa will do that, but she is a quiet player. I get up in the morning to find her toys scattered everywhere. No Wonder she sleeps most of the day: way too busy at night. :lol: At least she has learned not to play with the nanners... then again I suspect that Mannie is sound asleep on top of them. :shock: ;-)

I hope all is coming along with the insurance stuff. I so remember going through that a few years ago. I hope you can find a plan that will work for you, and allow you to keep your doctors.

Maybe TJ's today then?

Sounds like Mags was playing a little bit of "silly bugger" last night....that's where you need to get them and they skitter off or hide under something :lol: :lol: :lol: Snuggles is much better.

I'm glad she's feeling well and is having some poos. It's up to you, but I wonder if adding that fat back on might bring her down a little more. Of course, the flat blue she is during the day is fine....she feels well and you can get out. I was just thinking if you "wanted" to see a little more green and maybe a little lower morning PS, you could add that little fat back on. She is actually looking stable so it's definitely your call.

Awww, how nice to read about a happy Maggie :-D

You can send her here, to play with Clancy at night. He drives Tux crazy and starts fights in my bedroom, trying to play.
I'll send Clancy and Mags to the living room and my older boys can sleep with me. :-D

I hope you get to do your shopping....I plan to go to WalMart myself. Yuck on fighting the holiday shoppers. The grocery part will be crazy busy, I guess. :YMSIGH:

Hi Marje, thanks for your thoughts on her dose. Yes, Mags was sure playing "silly bugger" last night. It's een great seeing her back to her ole habits even if it keeps the Bean awake. There is always Mannie's coffee. ~O) ~O) I did have it in the back of my mind to add that drop back onto her dose. I was just getting complacent and comfy with safe numbers so the Bean could get out and about! :lol: She did have more greens with the last dose. If I'm not too tired for the pm, I'll add the fat on or otherwise tomorrow morning. Thanks again.

Thanks Melissa, it is the best news with Mags feeling well with all she's gone thru lately with the Megacolon and increased renal values. She sees Vetty early December for Senior Panel and check-up.

Michelle, oh my with the insurance plans and then prescription plans. I had no idea how much i had to learn. I picked a plan where I could keep my RA doctor and visit any doctor I want. It's a little more expensive but worth it.

Hi Devon, Mags is such a nocturnal kitty. I should wake her up to play more often during the day and make her tired at night, but nah, I'd never do it to her. :-D Give Mocha some scritches from us.

Barb & Checkers, okay you got it! Mags is packing her bag to spend a play date an sleepover with Clancy. Just don't mention it to Vyktor! :lol:

Hi Ann and Maggie, wow a nice greeen woo hoo! I hear ya on not getting more than 5 hours a sleep at a time, that is about the most I get then an hour or two here or there, it stinks! No wonder we get sick right? I never made it to TJ either, why is it their parking lots are so small? They built a brand new one near me this year and it still has a small parking lot! I left Mags a little food, and I suspect this is partly a food spike.

Michelle & Scrabble. I made it to both Walmart and TJ's and with little time in each store. Usually I take my time, but today it is crazy, especially T.J.'s. When I left the store, someone was waiting for my space, so I hurriedly threw everything in the trunk and backed out for her. I wonder why they all have such small parking spaces.

Well look at this PMPS; just the talk of a dose threat brings Mags into better numbers and no yellow bookend. I did use the Relion Confirm though which reads lower than the Arkay. I couldn't get a large enough drop on the Arkay.

Hi Leslie, I think she did hear me on the dose threat. I love it when she plays. Give Jasper some scritches from us.

Hi Barb, it was strange as our Walmart was not as crowded as I expected. The one I shopped at has some groceries but not everything. Yes, it's a relief to finally make a choice and get it done with the health insurance.

HI Ann - sorry for not getting around to a visit yesterday. I am so happy to hear that Maggie is playing around and having fun, even if it is at night. LOL on the 5 hours of sleep. With Leo's several days of reds and blacks, I got more sleep than I had in a while! About the strips - I just figured out (D'oh) that I can order them online. I just ordered 300 strips and lancets and they arrived in 3 days. They were the same price as the store (maybe within a couple cents or so). SO worth it not to fight Walmart, only to get there when the pharmacy is closed and there are no strips on the shelf.

Thanks for the visits I missed last night. After the +4, I got so sleepy and left food for Mags. She did a CPC!

Deborah & Shasta, thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes for Poo for Maggie. She must have heard you, as she left prezzies last night, :-D giving me the aroma early this morning!

Thanks Michelle & Mannie, this was due to the dose threat! I am amazed how just talking about a dose increase moves them into action at times!

Helen, I think she surfed the greens for a while and then when low, she always eats, so the sunny yellow may be food close to the +9 and 10.

Lisa, yes, I think there's a link where you buy so many and get one free box. Libby & Hershey gave it to me; I'm sure it must be the same one. Yes, it's so good to see her playful again, even if it means less sleep for the Bean! :lol:
