Good morning all,
Lou finally started coming down from the stratosphere last night, but pretty slowly. Per Wendy's advice, I decided to stick with 3.0u today to see how he does. He had a nice AMPS, but we'll see what he does with it. Unfortunately last night into this morning, he wasn't eating as much, not finishing his meals. He even had food leftover this morning from his last feeding. I'm not sure if this is quite as worrisome as it feels (I can't shake the feeling something else is going on considering his numbers are not coming down), or the byproduct of an active cycle. He's not acting nauseous or anything, just not finishing his food. Yet another thing I'll keep an eye on. :blackeye: Of course with Thanksgiving coming up the timing is even more frustrating if things get worse.

I just have to get through today and I have the next 5 days off. I hope you all have a wonderful day and your kitties surf safely. Sending vines to all those kitties in need, including Miss P (@Phoebes) and Mr. Jones (@Tracey&Jones). :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I know this feeling. I just wish there was a vet with more knowledge I could take Gizmo to. Getting him into the IM is at least a month out and that would be with a new IM as the one we saw previously has taken an admin position. :banghead:

Work da juice Mr. Lou. :cat:

Lou, eat some food we don't want a grumpy kitty.

Here is a little tidbit I think we all forget at times. When glucoses are high they can't metabolize food properly and they are super hungry. When they have lower for them to normal glucoses they are not so hungry. IMHO as long as they are maintaining weight or appy is off a day, I don't worry about it. I worry when appy is off 2+ days in a row and glucoses are still high then something else is going on.
