Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! Elsa outdid herself this morning: PRIMO!), and Happy WACKY Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is WACKY WEDNESDAY!!! Lola and Bug SWEAR that it won't be wacky pizzas, just wacky Wednesday. Whatever that means.... The whack-a-thon marathons continue. Excellent pizzas to the best whacker! We were all so excited to be able to spend yesterday at the dunes with all the LL kitties. These adventures are MEGA COOL! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot Breve's made from Sun-Dried Sumatra Rasuna beans. For my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Cimmamum and Frango Mint infused white mocha/mocha blend with Frango chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cimmamum whip garnished with cimmamum sprinkles, white chocolate curls and frango mocha drizzle. ....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint and vanilla and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with mint chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts always on the menu.

I hope everyone had a great Tuesday yesterday. We did well here. It was a busy out an about day, but I really had a good time. Breakfast with Anthony was great, just as much fun as it always is. Here's what I wrote last night about the day: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Breakfast with my son was great. It always is. It is such a nice time for us to catch upon what is what, and just enjoy dome really good food. The new place is proving to be a good one. We both like it, though we still do miss the old cafe.... This one is a good replacement. I had a veggie omelet today that was really good, a good variety of veggies! Anthony had Eggs Benedict that was made with "regular" bacon and not canadian bacon. Now that was delicious. So... looks like this place is a keeper. Seattle was fun too, that too always is. It was nice to get into the city, see my friend. She's busy getting ready for Thanksgiving. Aren't we all? ;-) " Christmas season is beginning to make itslef felt around the city. It's so nice to see all the lights up on all the trees that line the city streets. Nice but scary... that means we need to start thinking HOLIDAY!

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   I love LOLA... well I Love all my kitties, but I swear Lola keeps me on my toes. She was a good girl yesterday, has left the plants alone, but it was one mad dash from one place to another. I'd go to the front door and I could hear her running through to house to get to where I was. I'd go to go into the garage, and I could hear her fly over the banister, thunder down the stairs, zip around the corner to see if she could beat me to the door.   It was like that all day long.... until 5PM when she crashed and took a nap. oh sure... for a few hours and then she was back at it again. I'd see Bug on occasion cautiously peak around corner to make sure she wasn't coming right at him before he'd proceed. Elsa just camped out downstairs. I was thinking it is about 3 weeks or so before my Christmas tree will go up,   Any bets on what Lola will do wight that? Elsa will ignore it as always, Bug I suspect will perform a Mannie and claim it as his own, sleep under it more often that not. And LOLA? Well Bug may not have a tree standing long enough for him to sleep under it. This will be fun!

Have a great day everyone. I am back on Nicholas and William duty today. Nicholas and I will swim while the other grandparents watch William for a few hours for me. We are due for a sunny afternoon, cold, but sunny. I hope they are right, and maybe we can go to a park in the afternoon. :-D

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE/b], think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Michelle,

Good Morning, my friend Steve had a long haired orinch girl named Sandy and she was very ornery. He put the Christmas tree up one year and said he kept walking through the living room and felt like someone was staring at him, He stopped and looked and there was Sandy who had climbed right up onto a branch in the middle of the tree and was peering out at him. He said all he saw was two eyes staring out at him.
I look forward to hearing Lola Christmas tree stories.

Terri

Sounds like yesterday was a success! That is great to hear. Christmas is coming so fast. I read today "Only 35 more sleeps until Christmas." Yikes.

Lola is a sweet sweet girl. She is just a ball of energy though. Never a dull moment with that one. Good luck on the tree. I have a feeling we all know what will happen.

Have a great day Michelle!

Hi guys .. uh oh .. just thinking of lola and the Christmas tree cracks me up! I bet too many times you are going to walk in the room and find cat eyes at the same height as yours!! Good luck with that!

sounds like you had a great day yesterday! Did you get any early holiday shopping done while you were in the City?

I can't wait to hear of Lola's adventures w/ the tree. We used to have to put up a couple of fishline guy wires up when Cleo (GA) was little.

I'm glad you had a good breakfast with your DS and visit with your friend yesterday. I hope you and the boys got some sun today and had fun wherever you ended up.

The idea of Lola and the Christmas tree makes me laugh. I can't wait to see what she does.

Breaky with the son sounds like a wonderful way to start any day! You also just inspired me for what I'm going to make for supper tonight :-D Yes the holiday season is here for sure. Fresh snow flying today and half our house is lit up. The other half may have to wait till a nicer day  Too windy out there. The Lola tree adventures will maybe at least give the poor plants a break! Hope youre having a wonderful night Michelle. Scritches to all your sweet kitties!

 @ Ann-We had to do the exact same thing with Kastro (GA). After one year of re-putting up the Christmas tree and redecorating it EVERY day, we were finally trained

Hi Michelle,

Seattle sounds so pretty dressed up for the holidays! I love this time of year, even though FL is not cold weather country

I cannot wait to hear the Lola/Christmas tree stories - I think you will have lots to tell :-D

I, too, cannot wait for your Christmas tree to go up! You are far, far braver than I am. My crew, are 10, are STILL way too feisty for me to attempt a tree. I can only imagine what they would do @-) @-) @-) ......(In fact, I hear something or other going on in the other room right now that I must investigate....crazy cats!)

Have a great night, Michelle!

Hi Michelle,
You'd better get a sturdy xmas tree!!! Lola will not be happy until she masters the tree. Oh wow!! Rusty has always avoided the xmas tree. I think there may be a history there. Stu loved to sit underneath it (like Mannie), and he also liked to wash his feet in the water in the xmas tree stand.

Hope you had a good swim day with Nicholas. Enjoy the evening,

Ella & Rusty

Thanks for the ~O) ~O) ~O) Elsa. I took some on my hike. I hear that you kitties had a good time today chillaxin'.

Hi everyone! happy HUMP DAY night! WOOT on that one, the week is more than half over. I hope your day was a good one. We truly had the best one possible today. The weather was gorgeous! A sunny day, not one cloud, but COLD. I think we topped out at 39. We are 36 right now, and falling. they predict 29 tonight. wow: we do be cold. We did swim int he morning, and then off to the Beach Park in the afternoon,. it was just too nice out not too. Pool was really fun, he had such a good time. I just love it when he gets out of the car, and runs to the front door. The ENERGIZER fish just can't wait to get into the pool. How fun! It was pretty much the normal stuff we do today, but he really wnated to do alot of underwater stuff, and swim the beach area. It is a hoot when he does that, big arms and all. The water is only a foot and a half deep in that section, so I think he has some confidence with that, and can swim the entire length, and get his breaths easily. It is really fun to watch! Anyways - great pool stuff. We did just under two hours. William stayed with the other grandma, went to visit all her friends. We did Juanita Beach park in the afternoon, as there as no way the Nicholas was going to nap, and William was wide awake too, and the sun was out... so why not? A couple hours there, with clear blue skies, and butt freezing temps, well cold at 38, a little wind. It sure was gorgeous though.Wearing a coat has always been an issue with Nicholas. He says he doesn't need one, but today he didn't give me an argument when I told him he had to wear a coat,t. He knew it was cold. 15 minutes into it he asks to go back to the car and get his hat and mittens. wow on that. It was a fairly normal stay there, swings and slides, and beach time with the ducks. As cold as it was he still had to go out into the water, play some, toss a few rocks, play with a few sticks. He really loves the water. Once again we get back to the car with soaked pants. Thank goodness for boots that kept his feet dry. ;-) What a fun day for all of us. I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Terry, thanks for the visit! how funny on your friend and the Christmas tree. I can so see those pairs of eyes staring back at him. My daughters kitty would do the same thing. They would come home after work and find him sleeping on the branches in the middle of the tree.I can only imagine what will be going on with Lola. This ought to be so much fun!

Hi Melissa, Thanks for yesterday. It was a lot of fun I can't believe Christmas is coming as fast as it is. Only 35 more days! Yikes says it well. I so agree on Lola, she truly is a sweet sweet kitty. She just has too much energy for her own good. You're right, there never ever is a dull moment with her. Thanks on the tree and I know you're right. We all know what's going to happen.

Hi Devon, I know! I to have to laugh a lot when I think about Lola, and that Christmas tree. I wonder if I can find enough weights to hold and then tie that thing down. I have a feeling it will be over the first day. Too funny huh, I think you're right: we're going to walk into that room I have cat eyes staring at us. It'll be a blast!

Hi Ann, thanks we really did have a great day yesterday. I did a little window shopping yes I have to admit that. But didn't really buy anything. I should have! Christmas is coming faster than any of us want to believe I think. I know, I think this is going to be quite the adventure with the tree. I remember you talking about Cleo in the past in the Christmas tree and how you had to use the fishing line to anchor it. I have a feeling we may be in a similar situation! LOL!

Hi Carla, thanks on yesterday's breakfast and time with my son. It was a good visit with my friend too. We did get lucky today and have a lot of sunshine. It was very cold outside but the Sun made up for it. We did the pool also went to the beach park. It was just too nice outside not to go.

Hi Kim, I know and I agree on both: it makes me laugh too. It ought to be quite the adventure. my son and I have been going out to breakfast about every other week for quite some time now. It is just a nice way to get things going and keep in touch with each other.Yes I think so too, the holiday season is here. And you have for snow? How cool is that. Your house is all lit up already! Sounds awesome to me. You are right! ! At least my plants will have a break for a while! Almost too funny huh.

Hi Jane,it is beginning to look very pretty in the city. Lights on the trees. Stores are just starting to get decorated. Its a nice time: Christmas in the city.I will laugh when I think of all the stories I will have to tell on the Christmas tree, and Lola. I am so certain there will be something daily! I know she will not leave that tree on touched. Oh haha.

Hi Amy, well we plan on putting the tree up with a couple weeks. Not much sooner than that. I have a feeling it will be Lolaized very quickly. I kind of miss Mannie in regards to that. He loved that tree and was sleeping religiously 24 hours a day 7 days a week. That was his tree. I can only imagine what would go on there was Lola and Mannie in the tree together. I is too funny to think about. This is going to be fun!

Hi Ella, I think you're right! A sturdy tree is definitely required. But I do have to admit, ours comes out of the box. So I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to make sure that thing remains sturdy! I remember Rusty and trees from the past. Not a real big tree fan is he? I think you might be right that there was a history there with him. I had a kitty a long time ago where it was the same way. I remember Stu loved to be underneath it, just like Mannie did. Too funny on the feet washing in water in the tree stand! I had a kitty that used to like to drink out of it too. Thanks on today, we had a great time in the pool. He just loves his swimming, it just never ends with him. It was a great time.
Auntie Ella! you are more than welcome. I am so glad you like the coffee. It is just way too cool that you took some on your hike. Was there enough for your friends too? I know I had such a good time with all the kitties today on the radiators. It is one of my favorite things! Elsa, Lil BIT, Kitteh barista
