Yesterday's Condo

Gabby seems back to normal appetite-wise. She hasn't left me anything in the litter box to know if the rest of her GI track is back to normal but the good news is that we don't have the numerous trips to the box. The only thing that remains is lousy numbers. I'm hoping this is a bounce and she needs to get her liver and pancreas back on line, as well.

I leave for a conference today. It's the primary meeting for my professional group and a conference I've been going to for a lot of years. I'm looking forward to seeing old friends. What's going to be hard is that the conference is in Philadelphia. This is my home town. While I havn't lived there in decades, it is always full of memories. Right now, some of those memories of times with my sister are still painful.

I'm glad Gabby is feeling better today. Sending tons of safe travel vines, and prayers that you are flooded with joyful memories of your sister that warm your heart and make you smile.

Hi Sienne. It's good to see Gabby is feeling better, it's so hard when they don't feel good! I'm sending feel good vines and paws crossed on good prezzies. I hope your trip goes well, the memories are good and not too hard, and safe travels to you:)
 
So glad to hear Gabby is feeling better, hopefully her digestive problems are behind her, no pun intended! I hope that you have a good trip, with good memories, hopefully, yes, you can't help but be thinking about your sister at a time like this! :YMHUG: :YMHUG:
 
Have a safe trip, Sienne, and enjoy seeing your friends and colleagues. I hope that all of your memories of Philadelphia and your sister will be good ones.

We are so glad that Gabby is better and trust that both kitties will have a good weekend. You are lucky to have a good cat sitter.

Bittersweet return. But I hope the conference is engaging, the old friends are comfortable, and the memories are of good times.
