Yesterday's Condo
Cinco got my hopes up this morning with that nice drop at +3.75, but just burst my bubble at +5.5. I know it's not a full moon. Why are all our cats being so weird? I think he's been hanging out with China again!
The vet called about Harvey's BW. Bun is slightly higher than before, as is Creatinine. They aren't super bad, but higher than is desired. She talked about sub-qs, and I told her I don't know enough people to be able to give Harvey fluids!
:lol: She said maybe down the road, if no improvement. I need to meet some body builders (or wrestlers)! She is going to start him on a supplement, and I didn't write down the name. DH will pick it up when he is in Sac on Sunday. She said it helps some cats, and some cats not, but it's worth a try. One of his liver values was slightly up, but the rest were good, so we'll just watch it. Everything else was fine.

Sasha ate three bites of A/D this morning
, then turned away :sad: . She did the same with the regular entree of the morning. I broke out the baby food and she perked up. I added some Taurine to it, and then I put in another supplement I found yesterday, The Missing LInk Ultimate Feline Formula . It contains Taurine, so I won't be putting both in at the same time. I only put in a little, to see if she'd eat it, and she did! I added more and she seemed more enthused than with just the baby food. She polished off half a jar, with the supplement added. Next I'm thinking about sprinkling it on cat food to see if that helps. I am keeping in mind the suggestion that Amy made that she might have developed an aversion to her previous foods, so I will be trying others, too. I am a very persistent person, and I refuse to be out maneuvered by one small, three-legged cat! :lol: :lol:
I got a PM from Dyana yesterday, telling me that ADW called to say they had gotten an unexpected shipment of syringes. I did not get that call, and it was too late to reach them (I left a message). Then I went farther down my e-mail inbox and found a shipping confirmation from ADW - they had filled my order! YAY!! I hope everyone that needed the syringes had the same kind of experience. A customer service rep just called, in response to my message, and I told her I'd gotten the e-mail. She confirmed the shipment and I thanked her profusely. She laughed. Can't help it. I was excited!
Sending healing vines to all in need, and hugs to all their beans. :YMHUG: Prayers continued for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF, Lisa's DF, Elise's DM and Marje's DM. Still holding Dyana, Melinda and Pat in our hearts as they deal with the cat-shaped holes in their lives.
