Good morning!
AMPS 110 shooting 2.0u
Not bad considering the N/S 24 hours ago!

Boomer got me up 3 times last night, and tried for a fourth! Well I wasn't sleeping anyways thanks to a long mid-evening nap I had while watching tv :rolleyes:

I'm hoping to go out today but right now it's foggy. Yesterday I made a quick trip to the pond after a fellow photographer sent me a message letting me know there was a Tundra Swan in the pond! Hoping for better shots today though; he/she was pretty boring yesterday lol.

Today's photo is from the summer when the Green Herons were hanging out!

Do you have special strategies for shooting in adverse conditions like fog and rain>? sometimes I find I like photos that are taken in those conditions since it seems like colors pop!
 
That's a beautiful green heron! DH reported that the spoonbills are 'in residence' today at the ponds...I'd walk over there, but Miss Luci has other ideas about how I spend my extra time today...grr...I miss out on everything...stomp, stomp...

With rain I don't bother trying...there's not enough light and I don't want to chance damaging my equipment. With fog....well I love finding fog hovering over the river or the pond, especially when the sun is just rising.
