Baily is looking so good! When the heck does momma sleep??

Looks like she did a little bounce starting on the 2nd cycle after the 49 on the 16th that has cleared now. Bubba use to have a little delayed bounce sometimes too.

Wow. Thanks for pointing that out. I'm just so bad at finding the bounces. It's like a mental block.
So, I took Bailey to visit my kids at their apartment on the 17th. Her BG was even that day until we took her into the apartment, and then it skyrocketed. I felt so bad taking her, but now I think it was a perfect storm of events. A pending bounce from the 49, a skinny shot to play it safe, and the stress of being in the apartment. I wonder if she would have come down sooner if it was just the stress of being at the apartment without the two other factors.

Baily is looking so good!
Thank you.

She doesn't, which leads me to ask a question. I have been trying to test less. Based on Bailey's SS, which other tests do you think I could skip?

Thank you so much for checking in on us!!

It looks like she nadirs around +4 or +5 so I would get one around then and then let that number guide you for more if needed. Bubba is starting to hiss and growl at me when I test him. So, I am trying to get the more important test as well.

I'm with Bobbie, when DO you sleep, Rosie? You're a machine!!
I've always slept very few hours, my entire life. Wish I could actually sleep more. Also wish I could have coffee. :(

Thanks! Not ready to cut it back to just one mid cycle test just yet, but I'm hopefully cutting back and making my way there. :)

That stinks. Maybe he won't do that now that he is back to hunting outside. :cat:

Bailey actually lays down when she sees me coming to test. She only complains if I struggle to get blood. I'm pretty lucky that way.

Especially at night, I try to get one test early in the cycle (+2 or +3) to see what the boys are up to and whether it might be an active cycle. If it looks like a bigger drop, I stay up a bit longer and test again. If it's a "normal" drop, I set an alarm for +6 or +7 to test and and feed. Or if it looks like it's not going to be a drop at all, I don't test mid-cycle at night.

....and I do like my sleep - but I think I am so used to getting up at least once in the middle of the night, I pretty much wake up without an alarm.
