He had an ugly poo yesterday...ewww. No idea why either. No food changes. Maybe it is the heightened kitty stress at our house. His numbers continue to be ok though and he eats ok with the cypro. The drinking is still increased but not as bad as before.

We have a stray. She looks just like Jones in his better days. However she is in heat!!! She is howling day and night outside our house. DH felt sorry for her so we started feeding her.. The last two days she has decided I could pet her while feeding her. I have talked with DH and said we needed to trap her so she is off the streets and doesn't get pregnant. Well, last night she decided she just needed inside the house. I would love to but I have two sick kitties that haven't had their shots for a couple of years now. I can't take the risk. My cats are going nuts!!!! Today she let me pick her up but as soon as DS came with the crate...she ran. So trap is set, hope to catch her before it gets really cold. DH is home watching and will run her into animal control when she is caught. She looks in pretty good shape and friendly. I am sure with some love and a surgery to fix her that she would make a great house cat.

Jones' pic today. Not him but he gives you that look a lot...however, you know Jones if you gained a few pounds you could look like this! This is your first goal...

Overall, a pretty good report for Jonesy :)
Fat fairy pics weren't working so this new approach of "goal photos" is worth a try for sure.
Are you inspired Jonesy?

Good luck with the stray. Hope she has a permanent home and a new family soon, thanks to you and your DH catching her and taking her to animal control. I can't do that with any strays in my back yard because the no-kill shelters near me never have room. Never, ever.

Your story about the stray sounds like how Boomer came to be part of our family. We caught what we thought was a female (because we were afraid she would have kittens under our deck), took her in to be spayed, and she turned out to be a castrated male lol. So he got his shots and he never did get put back outside

That is a sweet story!
