Hi Everyone!
I think of you guys all the time but I have been trying not to spend as much time as I had been in cyberland and spend more of my desk time working. I miss you all, though!
Basil is doing very well, coming up on 9 months OTJ. We test his BG once a month and he was 81 last test, a great number for Mr Basil. He looks and acts terrific. Recently, I received a package that had a long (maybe 12 foot) length of brown paper wadded up in it. I took it out, flattened it, rolled it into a brown paper cave and threw in a little catnip. This, apparently is the formula for kitty heaven. Yesterday, I was out in our yard and Basil ran halfway up a tree! He just is in such good shape--thanks to everyone here, of course.
Basil is still eating FF, 0% to 5% carb range, and I rotate among 12 varieties on a per-meal basis. He eats 6 times a day, including my still getting up at 3:30am to deliver his snack. I HAVE to get that automated feeder going.
My civvie has developed a hyperthyroid issue so now she is on a daily pill for it but she's doing very well.
Well, that's the report and I am off to read and catch up here!
