To Review - I just started with all of this and decided to hold off starting Tiki on Insulin until this Sat when I can be home to watch him all day on the insulin and in the meantime I am taking some blood readings this week to see where he is "normally."

I just took his +2 (actually its a little less than +2) reading and its off the charts...is that normal??? I fed him Fancy Feast Classic Salmon and Shrimp. He's a grazer but hasn't eaten a LOT this morning...I sense he's getting fussy with his food as he hasn't been eating much over the last couple of days.

I would re-test. You may have a bad test (too much or too little blood and no error message) or a bad strip. That's a BIG jump in a short time.

Hi guys .. yep, any time you do a test and it seems to be a surprising number it never hurts to double check .. poor tiki, he says I'm trying, give me some credit! have a great day guys!

It is so wonderful to realize that an unexpected high number is not the cat!!

Good for you, Tiki!

Enjoy the evening, guys,

Ella & Rusty

p.s. You can edit your subject line (in your first post of today's condo) to give the correct number.
