11/1 Shasta

WCR: All Ps in place. I broke out Shasta's heating blanket and she's happily curled up on it. Appy is still iffy today. Don't know whether she's burned out on the Chunky Chicken, but I pray that's not the case. I gave her ~50mL sub-q fluids earlier and as I was petting her a few minutes ago, heard a crackling sound. The closer I listened, the more I think it's a gurgling sound of the fluids under her skin. WEIRD! Oh, and I totally screwed up her shot times regarding DST. I feel like an idiot and should probably be slapped. Oh well, so far, she doesn't seem terribly affected by my screw up. Lazy Sunday of chores and snuggles and amazing, crisp weather. Want this weather all the time!!! Happy Sunday Funday, LL!

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Don't be too hard on yourself. Shasta is looking good today. One year I made all of the adjustments and then set the clock the wrong way. Furball was off two hours. I hate trying to remember which way to set the clocks.

First of all, there are 3 birds sitting on the ground outside of her napping window and she could care less. I'm stunned!!!!! I can't get all of them in a picture with her, but it's hilarious!!! Second, the crunchy sound that I hear when I rub her back...it's definitely a crunchy sound, not a fluids "gurgle" sound. I'm thinking there was excessive air in the line when I started her sub-q fluids. Will this go away over time?

Fortunately, AZ doesn't do daylight savings time but we still have to remember the time change to other time zones.
"Spring forward, fall back", that's my little mantra.
