surprised by punkin's first reading this morning, but after 30 minutes he was up in the usual range. of course, now we are 30 minutes late and we all KNOW how punkin feels about late service. It is a complete violation of our Feed Me Contract. he's perched on the arm of a chair right now staring at me. kinda reminds me of the old Snoopy pictures . . .

and by the time i found that picture he's moved to the coffee table. i'm getting the same look and he's added an annoyed MEOW to it.

love that cat. :-D

Surely you aren't posting before feeding! Talk about a breach of contract!!

Hang on to that half hour. You can use it for the time change this weekend. Now you only have to add 1/2 hour more!!

That 84 must indeed have been a surprise.

Somethin's changing with Punkin. Paws crossed! I know the stare well and usually get it a good 1/2 hour before feeding time. That way she insures the contract gets fulfilled.
 
man i love these spreadsheets. whoever came up with it - thanks! it's amazing how much you can see when you have it all laid out on the charts.

i think punkin is bouncing again today - which makes me think that 84 probably was right. the DH checked him and got 84, waited 10 minutes and got 160, then i got the 171 and shot it. he thought the 84 was bad, but after seeing him go up and up today, i'm thinking punkin must've been on his way up from a lower number.

think i need to be getting a midnight test in every night - that's a pm+5 so i know what he's doing. you guys are more optimistic than me. i've decided his dose is 12.5 for the rest of 2011. then anything else will surprise me.

we're at 6 weeks post SRT now. i was hoping for OTJ by now, but i'll be thankful for it not getting worse. at least this is better than the 15.5 that he was at when we were in Colorado.
 
That's great that you're seeing some action with punkin's numbers and that the dose is lower than in CO. Have his pupils changed any more? I wish I had a crystal ball so I could tell you what to expect. We are sure rooting for him and hope he continues to improve.

I did have a question about when you drop his dose in half to let his shed empty. I noticed you've done that a couple of times. Is that because he's an acro cat and/or his dose is high?
