I'm so tired from being on the run (and the stress of) the last couple of days I could conk out on top of my keyboard right now. *LOL*

Pumbaa seems to be cooperating very nicely on his 2.25U dose, by clearing his bounce and settling into high 100s to mid 200 numbers. If the next couple of days weren't going to be even more hectic than the previous few, I would raise Pumbaa back to 2.50U in a heartbeat. And I still might, if it looks like he's spending too much time in the yellows and not enough time in the blues.

I'm typing while cooking Beck chicken for the next couple of days, and really should cook something for me, as well, for the next couple of days...if I can summon up the energy. I still have to grind veggies for Beck, too, or her feeding time will be delayed in the morning.

Hope you all have wonderful weekends!

Do take care of yourself and not just the "kids". And get some rest. Maybe you can sleep well now that the surgery is over and some of the stress is gone.

Good boy, Pumbaa, for not adding to mom's stress load right now. cat_pet_icon

Re: 11/2 Pumbaa - Some blue, some yellow..and now a 56!

Where did that +5 PM 56 come from? I need sleep tonight! Pumbaa was supposed to hang out in the high 100s or mid 200s. Not drop down into the 50s so many hours before his nadir!!!!!

While I love that he went this low on this reduced dose, that isn't what I had been planning for. *sigh*

I so want to just crawl into bed tonight, but now it's not possible. I will be testing Pumbaa again in a few minutes.

Here is the irony:

So many people are trying so hard to take their cats down the dosing ladder, and yet, when I am trying to keep Pumbaa stable just below 250, he keeps throwing these low greens!

I am a zombie in need of sleep. But Pumbaa is not cooperatiing! *LOL*

It's Friday night, and Pumbaa is diving like he used to do on Friday night's when he was on Lantus! WTF is up with this???

I was so worried that the dose reduction to 2.25U was going to cause his numbers to go up, but now he's earned another dose reduction due to his +4.5 PM reading of 45.

I just wanted Pumbaa below renal threshold, and all of the animules taken care of these few hectic days!

Pumbaa still knows how to get attention in spite of everything!

I think you have to take the reductions (as earned) and figure it out later. And it takes more than one cycle for the depot to thin out, but he will surely bounce out of this for now.

So take care of yourself and your mom. Great she's doing well.

That he does! *LOL*

And where is his dang AM/PM switch so I can change him around so these lower numbers come during the day????

Thank you, Sheri!

And Dante is looking much better with those blues and yellows, and not as many reds!
