This whole time change is a real pain.
I have her shot 30 minutes late last night and 30 minutes early today.
She’s having a lower cycle today. Not sure it’s related or could be changing to the Methimazole pills on Friday for her thyroid. Could be both, all or just breaking a bounce
She’s back to her normal pee amounts since I switched her to the pills on Friday (so obviously they are effective and the dose is working.)
I’m trying to determine if I should give her a smaller dose than recommended by the vet since switching from transdermal methimazole to pills which would potentially be more potent since it appears she was not absorbing the transdermal medication well.
**I am currently giving a half dose of 2.5 mg instead of 5 mg that she was on with the transdermal medication and 5 mg was recommended by the vet to continue with the pills.
I’m trying to get some answers about this online. There is a Facebook group for hyperthyroid cats and I’m trying to see if I can get some answers there as well as an IO group which I will also post there and look for some answers.
She’s currently napping in her bed, but I’d like to take her upstairs for some sunshine. Wish me luck on that.
Hope everyone has a calm and boring Sunday with very safe surfing

We had a visiting buck and his female friend the other day (jumped out fence to hang out for the morning and eat my plants)
Bad pic with reflection in the glass, but here is the male
