Hi Nan!! I know, I tried to tell him he doesn’t need to rush but he likes the beach! I know he’s safe right now though, I’ll check again at +3 and go from there!

I will probably grab one more test at +5 and then put some snacks in the auto feeder and call it a night if that sounds okay to you Bron?
 
What is the auto feeder for snakes?
Does Blaze always eat the food in the autofeeder?
How many separate feeds can you put in the autofeeder?
If needed are you able to wake up with an alarm?

Yes, Blaze is a very reliable eater with the auto feeder, he will push his siblings out of the way if they get to it before him.
The auto feeder has 5 compartments but that is with one compartment open and available now.
I can set an alarm and hope it wakes me up but I have turned off alarms in my sleep before.
How much longer are you thinking I need to stay up?
 
At this point, I might as well get a +5.5 since it’s 17 minutes from now but after that, I’m going to put food in the auto feeder and head to bed

I think that is wise, because Blazes numbers are still being influenced by the higher carb food. And we need to see them staying up on their own.
I know you aren't well....it's hard.

I didn’t give him any HC food tonight, I only used 13 and 16% which is considered MC, right? Which should stay in his system longer than what HC would?

Yes, sorry, I said higher carb food....meaning higher than low carb......;)
I was aware you were giving 13 and 16 % which is medium carb.
We actually want him to be staying up on his own without the influence of food.

Okay got it!
+5.5 is 94 so he’s up a little bit more. I’m not going to be able to stay up to keep testing as it’s almost 1am for me.

Do you think you could set the alarm for +7 and wake up?
Put the alarm clock away from the bed and if you have a second on set that too.
I would also fill up the snake...oh ?...I mean snack feeder to open several times.
What do you think?

Yes I will set an alarm for +7, but I don’t have an alarm clock, just my phone, so that will have to do!
I set up the auto (snake :p) feeder for 1:45 am, 2:45 am and 3:45 am but the + 7 will be 2:15 am so he will only get one snack before that test, is that okay? And the time change starts at 2:00 am, I think my phone automatically changes so I will try to set a timer to go off in two hours, instead of the alarm. I hope this works. I’m pretty confident Blaze will be fine, I have gone to bed with numbers like this before and just left snacks in the auto feeder and not gotten up to test in the middle of the night.

I don't know Blaze like you do of course, it is just with the big drop, we want to make sure he is safe. And cats can wobble up and down when they are on the way back up.
I use my phone too for an alarm. Don't put it close to you.
The time change tonight stuffs it around a bit but never mind.
What a lucky boy Blaze is to have you.
