At least she kept it blue this morning - but these numbers are making me very nailbite_smile nailbite_smile nailbite_smile again. I can live with her OTJ bounces as long as she brings herself down....but she needs to bring herself down ENOUGH....c'mon, Ms P......

We had a very happy appy and feisty kitty....after snuggling with me, she moved on to snuggly with her Yeoowwww 'nip ball. Cuteness. We DID, however, have a rough gelcap today....my run of good luck was bound to end at some point. Lots of hissing, swatting, cat fight noises, growlings, and 3 repacks. Ugh. But, it went down - only 15 minutes behind schedule. I do try a few times, then give her a break...I know when she gets upset, pushing the issue is counter-productive. Oh, how I wish I could do her meds via injection!

LOVED the Ms P picture from Liz, Anne, and Zener in Trix's condo yesterday  !! That's right, Ms P...step it up, or we're going to break out that brand new pen that's in the fridge!!!

Got a little bit of an update about "my" kitten (who I am now calling "Li'l Bit O'Kitten") from the rescue group: they took him to the vetty to be checked. For starters, he is a "he", and not a "she" like the receptionist at my own vet said! He's healthy, flealess, and they estimate he is just about 4 weeks old. And he LOVES to be held...I bet he's going to be super-social. Poor little guy...I suspect he roamed off and got lost. We've been looking and listening for other kittens, but haven't found any. It has gotten very cold here, so I pray that if there are any more kittens, Mama has them as safe and warm as possible. I still wish I could have kept Li'l Bit...I need more time and money!!!

Time to get moving....long day of teaching ahead. We're continuing to hold Dyana and Ginger in our thoughts and prayers.....

Come on, Trixie, get your pancreas in better gear so your mamabean can keep that brand new pen in the 'fridge unopened!

That kitten is sure to find a good home. He is so cute. I hope that the rest of the litter is OK.

Have a good day, Amy. Hope your dad is doing well today,

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

You know, Trixie just marches to her own drummer. Unnerving at times, but she's in charge of the beat. But, Trix, don't bang on the drum too loudly; you're making the bean nervous. And I have it on good authority, there's a pen in the fridge! Let that keep your drumbeat to a nice steady ta-dum without too many rambunctious riffs.

Amy, saw the pix and read the story of the foundling kitten. OMG, cuuuuuuute. Great job giving this little guy a great chance at the good life. Sweeeeeeeet! and Squeeeeeeee!

Had to flip back to see the pancreas picture. Bwhaaaahahaaahaha!

Light to your dad. Hope Thanksgiving isn't too big a crash. Nuts to the timing, though.

It's nice to hear how good Trixie is feeling. Sorry you had trouble with the gelcap this morning. It's great to hear the kitten is healthy.

No slacking, Ms. P. (I need a finger wagging emoticon  ) Great to hear that Trixie is feeling good. :-D :-D Continuing vines for DF. Hugs for you, Amy.

How's this one?

Okay, Ms. P. Time to get off the couch and get busy. No more slacking.

Yay for happy appy and feistiness. Boo for bad gelcap experience. I guess you have to have one of those every now and then to make you truly appreciate the ones that go smoothly (just call me little Mary Sunshine!).

That truly was an adorable kitten. I can't believe it was feral. I wonder if anyone nearby has a litter that's one short now? I'm so glad you found him a good home.

I'm glad Trixie is happy and feisty, even if she is being feisty with her gelcaps! Sending Ms. P some "kick it up a notch" vines.
