I am checking ketones everyday, so far so good, paws crossed.
I was thinking about Nature's Varitey too. Right now with having the tube the wellness is the easiest for him to lick up. Once the tube is out I will try different foods that will hopefully help his issues. I'm anxious to see the cardiologist on Wednesday.
He has a follow up this week with his regular vet and I will discuss the insulin dose issue. Weird that his BG's haven't really changed? Before he was on 6.75u and his BG"s were a little higher more of the time.

If there was an infection present, the higher dose of insulin would have been necessary to offset the infection. There are also other possibilities if Tidus is a high dose kitty.
