Good Morning, Everyone,
Dyana is in our thoughts.
Rusty had a good night. It was cold (15 degrees at midnight; 18 this morning) and he snuggled in his spot between his beans with his head on his little green pillow. This morning he is busy supervising the piano tuner. The normal routine is disrupted! But he ate about half of his breakfast so far and we had a short combing.
The dawn was beautiful this morning, but now it has begun to snow. Our area is north and east of the big lake-effect snowstorm that has crippled Buffalo and parts of the North Country (6 feet of snow in Buffalo and more to come for the rest of the week; lots of roads are closed and the area is in a state of emergency). We have nothing planned for today except for our daily walk to the post office. I may be able to get back to my book, a fascinating novel: "A God in Every Stone" by Kamila Shamsie.
Wishing all a good day and continuing to send vines to all in need,
Ella & Rusty
