How is Rufus doing/feeling these days? Cats are so much more than their numbers.

Rufus acts pretty normal. He does pee about 2-3 times a day. Doesn't drink much but eats only wet food. He eats what I give him but doesn't act starving.
His old owner was unable to give insulin thats why he came to be with me. He is very overweight at 19lbs, but fairly active. He use to be and indoor/outdoor kitty.... but now he is inside all the time at my place. He weighed 19lbs when I got him.. very overweight. I think he maybe lost a pound so far.
My other diabetic kitty definitely acts different when her numbers are high and low. Rufus seems to be the same all the time....although his numbers don't change too much.
1 lb is a good start for a month. You do want weight loss to be slow.
