@Wendy&Neko, like clockwork, her bounce ended this morning. Great blue AMPS, hooray! Got a ketones check with the stick, too, hovering between negative and trace color-wise.

My flight is in about 8 hours and I’m feeling so much better about all this.

Been talking with @Carol & Murphy about the out of town plan..gonna see how she does tomorrow and may bring the dose down a BIT if there’s any chance of a hypo this week.

Good point. I think most folks lower the dose a bit when kitty is going to be under pet sitter care and not monitored to the same extent as usual. Better to have her run a little higher while you are gone.

Will sitter be testing for ketones? Or BG? Normally the dose is lowered a bit if you will be away. But the possibility of ketones may change the picture.

She certainly can, especially since we have the blood ketone meter now.
