Yesterday

Well, you win some you lose some. That AMPS earned a dosecrease, but shortly thereafter she gave me an RR (resting respiration rate) of 19 then 21. :) Back to Neko normal breathing. I just fattened the Lev dose, still cautious after her hospital stay dives. Then there is the yet unknown effect of the Lasix which she started last night.

Appy battles continue. She ate some of the good-for-her low sodium/low phos/low carb but high calorie Weruva GlamNPunk, but really went to town on the less than perfect Recovery.

Kitties are in their side by side beds near my table, there was a brief flash of sun, but not enough to warm a solarium. We almost got out rowing today. We were about to head out the door when coached called it due ot weather in the cove.

Happy Caturday all.

ETA: I forgot to mention that yesterday was one year since Neko last had SRT.

I just uncrossed my fingers again to type. For some reason they are always crossed (and have been for days), when I am not busy using my left hand, all for Neko. At the end of that last sentence, they went instantly back into the crossed again. :) I'm glad she went to town on some food even though it wasn't the preferred food yet. And my fingers just crossed again .. Holding Neko close and wishing for a complete recovery. I'm glad all is well. Good Luck with the fattening of the dose.

I am happy Neko is breathing normally! Neko, please eat for your momma bean!! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Keep getting better Neko and working on that appy... your bean would love to see you chow down on more then recovery but keep chowing down regardless... hope you have a lazy day if you can't get out to row....:bighug::bighug:

Good report! Especially on the breathing, not bad on the appy either. :) Too bad you couldn't row but sometimes a break is good.

The lasik nightmare but hopefully she'll settle in and it won't be an issue. Is she getting it every day or every other...think you mentioned every other. Very happy to hear about that lovely RR. Lots feel good and appy vines for your girl.

Just checking in from NYC and very happy to hear that Neko's breathing is good and that she's eating selectively.
Keep eating, Neko! Fuds are good!

Too bad the weather caused your row to be cancelled. We put our boats away for the winter yesterday and got out the snowshoes. here in NYC it was 65 degrees F. This afternoon, but a big change is coming.

Hugs and scritches,

I am so happy to hear her heart rate is normal again whew!
I have a cat with severe gastro issues and she will only eat recovery to so I took 3 months and blended it every so slowly and now we are on regular gastro food.
Neko eat your fuds honey!

I am just whispering this, but she's eating some NV LID turkey for dinner. She won't eat it for her entire dinner, but it's a start and only the second flavour put out. And enough so I can give her bulge. I managed to snag some Merrick LID duck today, finally found it in the fourth store I tried. That may be a tomorrow experiment.

Beans spend late afternoon getting a review of our aerobic/lactate/VO2 testing results and what it means for training. For me, it means long low power workouts on the erg/rowing machine. Very boring! Time to move a TV to the workout room. I much prefer on water rowing, which is equally as long or longer but way more interesting. But we don't have to worry about wind inside.

19/21 RR holy awesome!
Dre is about 20 but Rico ranges from 28-40
He has stayed in the 30s or high 20s with the lasix
so glad Neko is doing so well!

YAY! That is wonderful- Go Neko! :))) And I do not envy long low rows inside!! Time to find some good movies on netflix :)

Can I ask where you found the Merrick LID? Is it a chain store? we have the purrfect bistro here at our best pet shop.. but no LID... if its Pet Valu or PetSmart- we have those here too..
