Milo am number was 58, I stalled and he was the same, his +4.5 was 65 and he had eaten his am meal 1/2 can ff....my question is if his numbers are staying in this range today is it a good idea to still give him the .01 or will it cause the higher numbers to return if I dont?

There's really no way to know whether the numbers will go up until you get there. Let's see how today goes. Normally cats do better if they get some time on 0.1u before going straight OTJ, but sometimes they take matters into their own hands.

I know he is doing so well, I just can't believe it!! He looks so great! Before I knew he was diabetic, and he was getting sick etc.. the back of his legs got so skinny, like his muscles were all gone, and his coat was oily and he was almost skin and bones, and we r talking about a cat the weighed 19 lbs and looks like he has mancoon in him, well now he looks like his old self, his legs look great, he is clean and fluffy again, he is even playful! (not bad for a 9 yr old cat!) I just love seeing him like this again. :-D

With Milo being in the high 90's would this be a good time to start his .01 dose? Or since he has been green all day should I just skip, and see what he does on his own at this point?

I don't normally give advice, but if it were my cat, I'd shoot the .01 or .1 or whatever it is :lol:

I agree -- shoot the 0.1u.

The idea is to provide Milo's pancreas as much support as you an for as long as you can so the when he's ready to stop insulin, you have the best possible chance for a successful OTJ trial.
