For anyone who might be interested, Lucian is well and continues to slowly do better. :thumbup

If you remember, he was on an 8 hr cycle when we first started PZI. Now he is usually +10-+12 each time, but has gone as far as +15. Yeah, surprised me too. :o

As usual, he does everything in his own time. I just roll with it. Other than that, he has got his weight back, looking handsome and shiney and my only complaint is lack of schedule. My life revolves around his shots, but I have nothing else to do anyway. Still, would be nice to know when he was going to need his next shot. ohmygod_smile

Best to all!

I absolutely do remember you and your Lucian full of surprises, Deb. I am so glad he is doing well and that you are still able to roll with the punches he throws. Nice to hear from you!

Hey BJ. Yeah, we've been hiding. ;-)
Since I haven't run a curve in months, guess I'll do it today. He's running high this morning, no clue why, but then again, he doesn't need a reason. ohmygod_smile
He's due for his yearly, but I'm broke, will have to wait until I get my worker's comp settlement sometime between now and Feb 1. ohmygod_smile Like everything else that has to wait.

Hey Rach! We hid for a couple months. Hope you're doing well.
Getting ready to test Lucian, curve day! Bad day to do it, he's high and running a short cycle for some reason. But since he doesn't have any 2 cycles the same, I guess it doesn't matter. Either that or I got the times wrong, which wouldn't surprise me nor be the first time. :YMSIGH:

Hello, happy that your kitty is doing well.I can relate to your financial situation,my DH has been laid off since the middle of June and running out of our unemployment in two weeks..and I only work one day a week.Leaves me lots of time for my sugar baby though. I loved seeing his fur get back to being soft and fluffy since insulin therapy too. What a blessing that we can help them with modern medicine! Best of luck!

To you also Joyce. I know how ya feel.

My Lucian looked so bad, boney, dull, dry and flakey. I'm sure he was going downhill for a while, But I was pulling 60hrs a week at the time and didn't notice. He spent a week in the vet hospital and looked even worse when he came out. The difference now is amazing. He's was barely over 7lb when he came home and running BG's over 700 and they couldn't get him down. So although he isn't near where I would like him to be, he is a million times better than what he was when he was in the hospital. Reminds me I need some new pics of my boy. :)

Financials? I lost my job while Lucian was in the hospital, hence the reason they tossed him out with BG's over 700. Still pisses me off. But since then, we just get by on worker's comp and SSD until Comp settles and then it will be nothing but my disability. But then I'll buy a house outright and have no rent or mortgage so we'll be able to get by a little better. It can't happen too soon, that's for sure!
