OMG that picture started my day off perfectly! What a darling!!!!

So glad they think its just a polyp and not a crisis. Bet a 1000 pounds were lifted off your shoulder. Give him and Emma belly rubs from me.

so interesting on leroy - makes total sense. if ya got something stuck feeling in your throat or the back of your nose, you'd be trying to get it out. glad it's only a polyp and you can just watch it. hopefully it won't grow.

looking to be a beautiful day in western oregon today! i see some blue sky - and that my hummingbird feeder looks off-color, so time to get that changed out.

my little failure-to-thrive baby turned 23 yesterday. nice when you defy diagnoses and they end up thriving! the kids are gathering tonight for dinner, so i have to retrieve the youngest from college and make a cake. not sure if the son wants to go out for dinner or eat here. i love holidays, especially birthdays! also love it when the kids come home!

eta - that is The Most Adorable picture! Leroy needs an award for being such a cute kitty! what's the guy doing in the sink, though?

What a cutie Leroy is!!! You must be so relieved that the issue is something so minor!!

Julie, I love holidays...but I think I love cake even more!! I have a ton of weight watchers points left this week... perhaps a cupcake is in my immediate future!!

Leroy looks so sweet sitting in the sink! You must feel so much better knowing what's going on with him. Maybe the polp will take care of itself and shrink(?)

I'm not big on the holidays...but cake...count me in Julie! Christie....you got me thinking about walking across the street and getting a red velvet cupcake (and I don't have any points left!) Yummmm....it's a blessing and a curse to have a bakery so close!

I'd save points for red velvet cupcakes    My kid sister made me some for my birthday. Thankfully I started WW after my birthday was over

Julie your post made my day. Happy birthday to your son and glad the doctors were wrong.

I hope it doesn't grow nailbite_smile Dr. B said that for bigger polyps that cause constant coughing and stuff, surgery is needed with an endoscope to view and remove the polyp

Here's info about nasopharngyl polyps for anyone who is curious: http://www.acvs.org/AnimalOwners/HealthConditions/SmallAnimalTopics/NasopharyngealPolyps//

I have no idea  Leroy has been sitting in the sink a lot lately. It has to be a just used sink, too  I think he's becoming a sink cat. Emma occasionally gets in the sink but only to try to pull off the rubber gasket under the sink stopper  She's done it once before and I was able to take the rubber gasket away from her before she swallowed it @-) I keep the sink stopper closed now before I leave for the day.

Now I have a craving for cake  What kind of cake are you making, Julie?

Same here  I was eyeing the boxes of mini cupcakes with leaf shaped sprinkles the other day but I decided not to buy them.

What is everyone planning for Thanksgiving and the day after? Is anyone going to go to shop at midnight for the Black Friday deals? Mom is going to make a small dinner, nothing fancy or huge like in the past since it's just going to be 5 of us. I'm working Friday for the extra money. I don't think I'll attempt to start holiday shopping until the following weekend when the crowds aren't so huge and crazy.
