Good Morning LL
(LOTS! I just love
), and Happy TUNA Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, will make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! As a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! It was SO COOL to have all the kitties hangout in the treehouse yesterday. Mannie loved that treehouse, built by him and all his LL friends. YOU GUYS ROCK! so. well. anyways.
Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are really good today too!
I hope everyone had a great Monday. Mine was great. I was able to go hiking yesterday. I was really MEGA tired from the late night before with My DS's band gig, so yesterday I was looking for just a nice short hike. I knew too the weather was turning nasty , so close was optimal too. I went t Snoqualmie Falls, abut 40 minute drive, with a nice river hike that was short too. I figured I could get there spend some a time before the nasty weather hit, oh sure..... Here is what I wrote last night about the day: "Hi everyone! WOW, and thanks for all the visits! I did indeed head on out on a hike. Well, more like a walk, but I did get out. I have been meaning to check on a re-done trail here at Snoqulamie Falls. We had a small window this morning, in between weather systems, so I took a chance and went over to the falls. So much for that weather window! I think the weather guys forgot to look out the window.... What a wet, rainy, soggy, but glorious day. I went to the falls today to see the new river trail that was reopened a few months ago. It sure is different from what I remember from ages ago... It is a very nice, easy to travel trail, geared for families and the masses. There still is river access, but it is limited. Of course the river is running high right now, so I expect that when that is not the case that more of the river banks will be accessible from the trail. I had a great time, even though I was dripping rain by the time I left. Thank anyone for rain gear.
I think I did about 4 miles today, climbed just short of 600 feet. The river trail itself is very short, maybe 2.0 miles round trip. Snoqualmie Falls really is such a beautiful place, even when it is hiding behind a veil of fog, and mist, and rains. (as a reminder: Google has changed the way it posts these photos, and only brings up a sampling of all contained in the album. The kitties were good kitties yesterday - even Lola. Fancy that! Well, normal Lola. I must have removed her from her banister railing walking at least a dozen times. I was home about 12:00 yesterday, and I had all of those kitties following me everywhere I went in the house. They had a little caravan going.  They seemed to feel that I should be feeding them. oh no..... way too early my furry friends. They finally gave up. I vacuumed again yesterday, another let's see how the new vacuum works in this part of the house.   It is interesting that the kitties don't immediately run when I turn it on - even Elsa, who hates the vacuum. It is much quieter than the old one, and doesn't seem to freak them out as much, Well, except for Lola who likes them from the get go. Last night at their dinner I opened one of the few remaining Weruva cans I had left from Mannie's fuds pantry, a chicken pie thing I think. Anyways - it had a few diced carrots and peas in it. Why they put that in cat fuds is beyond me. Anyways: each kitty gotta portion. I went to clean up after they were done and got to Lola's spot. "What is this slimy stuff on the counter?" I wondered, it was small, and there were maybe 5 of these mushy slimy blobs on the counter OH HAHA! Lola had taken the peas out and squished them on the counter. I guess Lola doesn't like peas....    I love that cat! YUPP! Normalcy in MusketeerVille!
