Good morning LantusLand! Yesterday's Dance!

AMPS 366

Altho' it never turned into a sizzlin' hot salsa yesterday, KT lead us thru a nice slow waltz. He stayed down in the low 100's for about 8 hours before his liver decided it had enough and started dumping that glucose into him. This morning's +11 was 334. With that high number, I went ahead and fed so AMPS an hour later was higher.

YES I KNOW NOT TO FEED IF IT WAS LOWER!! I really don't expect too much of a drop today but this dose is working better so hopefully will see more blues tomorrow. This whole 'go up to go down' thing is strange....we started higher than this with no action but now that we're coming back down the ladder, this dose is working a LOT better.

Thoughts and prayers to all needing them today especially our newly diagnosed Mama's and Papa's arriving so confused and scared. Big hugs to everyone,

Glad your DH was rooting for Iowa State! I am from Iowa and DH and I met and graduated from ISU so they will always be our team, even if we do live in Oklahoma! My son goes to OU, which means I am a Sooner as well. :lol: Next week will be a quandry, but my heart will always lie with ISU. I work with a LOT of OSU alumn and they were laughing last week about ISU not even being a speed bump. That made the victory even sweeter.

This whole 'go up to go down' thing is strange....we started higher than this with no action but now that we're coming back down the ladder, this dose is working a LOT better.

KT is a different kitty today than he was the last time he was at this dose.

When BK was going down the dosing ladder (both times :roll: ) I learned from those with the wisdom to focus more on the most recent 2 weeks.
Look for clues to questions you may have in the patterns and trends there. Any thing farther back is pretty much ancient history.
PSs change, new lower numbers are visited and eventually surfed at, you shoot lower numbers, curves start to flatten out, nadirs start relocating on you. . .

All around kitty is responding differently - for the better!

That's SO true that he's a different kitty, much happier and full of mischief. I remember the first time he got in the low 100's, I was terrified...just through and through terrified. Sure am glad y'all taught me different...

If he holds true as of late, we'll dance again tomorrow....
