Good morning! ~O)

I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday. I was in the dentist's office all morning unexpectedly, getting an old root canal dug out again. Turns out that they missed the fourth root that I weirdly have (unlike most people who only have three) and it was causing me very much pain. So, $1400 later, I feel better. Yay!

At any rate, Corduroy seems to be doing very well! I figured out how to give him his zobaline finally...in a Greenie! He LOVES those things and doesn't even notice the pill is in there ;-) He actually walks on his toes a lot more these days, partly due to the zobaline, but also that his BG levels have been a little lower on average lately.

I'm not sure if I mentioned this or not, but I had an appointment to get his senior profile bloodwork done a few weeks ago, but cancelled because I was scared to find out the results, knowing that I would get it done eventually. Anyway, we finally got it done last week and the results came back normal! I can't tell you how relieved I was!

Well, I hope that all the precious little kitties on here are feeling super good today! And I hope that you all have a great Tuesday!

I am so sorry about the root canal -ouch! But, at least you're feeling better now. Awesome Corduroy report - yay for Greenies and for good BW results. Have a great day, Brigitte!!

I think it's the duck and pea greenies that I see most people using..I think they only come in "dog" sizes, but you're supposed to be able to pinch a little off and wrap the pill in it

And YEAH for Corduroy liking them!! It makes it so much easier to pill them when they'll take it willingly!!

Great news on the senior panel!! Nice to see him getting some better numbers lately too!!

the dog pea and duck pill pockets are supposed to be safe for diabetics. i gave them to punkin and he loved them. congrats on finding a good pill-delivery system! it sure makes life easier. we got so i just wrapped up the pill in a little bit of pill pocket and threw them on the floor. so much easier than trying to stick a pill down his throat.

congrats (?) on the root canal! i think!

Thanks ladies for the condolences on my root canal. I think I actually felt better the day of than I have yesterday and today! It's catching up to me ;-)

Wendy, Chris and Julie, thanks for the heads-up on the Greenies too! I'm feeding him the cat salmon ones, but I'll get the duck and pea dog ones today. I did notice that his blood sugar was higher this morning than it has been in a little while, and that might be the culprit. So thanks again!
