I'm not bothering to find Champ's last condo because there's nothing in it anyway. He's very hungry whenever he's not sleeping, probably because of these dang high numbers he's getting at least once a day. I've been feeding him an extra spoonful every once in a while, if he begs long enough, but because he's on a raw diet, which seems to be low in calories, he hasn't gained any weight. Thank goodness. He's already a little porker. He is under 18 pounds now so that's good.

I have a crapload of work to do today to get ready for my parents visit on Monday. I still want to paint my office today (which I was supposed to do a looong time ago!) so I need to get all my work done that's due on Monday so I can unplug my computer and move everything out. This will probably be the last trip here for my parents. My mom's body just seems to be breaking down on her and her mobility has been affected so much. She and my dad were always so active so I know it's hard on them both. I'm just glad I get to have them here for Thanksgiving!!!! My house is going to be filled to the brim with tons of family and friends and I'll be eating food my mama cooked!!! It doesn't get better than that. If any of you have a southern mama, you know what I'm talking about!!

((((Patty))) I have missed you and Champ and keep meaning to send you a note. It will be wonderful to have a houseful for Thanksgiving. So sorry to hear about your mom. Enjoy the visit and the food. :lol: I hope you get it all done, but, if you don't, it won't matter anyway. Spending time with them is what counts. Have a great day!
 
Champ's numbers are getting beyond ridiculous!!! Good thing I have a lot of work to do today so I won't even be tempted to test him again until PMPS. Why depress myself further!!
 
Hi Patty, how wonderful that your parents are able to travel and visit for Thanksgiving. It sounds like they're coming from out of town. Yum, southern cooking is the best. My Mom isn't from the south, but her parents (my deceased DGP's) were from the Ukraine, and Mom cooked all those scrumptious ethnic dishes, you know, like food on the ribs. :roll: Enjoy visiting with your DP's. I hope Champ's numbers come down.
 
Patty, it is good to see your condo and I have missed keeping up with you. I also have been so busy that I haven't been able to read as many condos as I would like. It sounds like you are going to have a fabulous Thanksgiving with your parents in town. So sorry to hear that your mom is not feeling that well, especially since she is used to staying so active. It will be fun for you to be able to cook with her. Yes, there is nothing like a good old Southern Thanksgiving, complete with cornbread dressing. Yum! My brother-in-law always fries a turkey in addition to our regular roasted turkey...that is some good eatin'!

I hope Champ starts giving you some better numbers. Hear that, Champ??! Good luck with the painting project!
 
Glad to see a Champ Condo. That was quite a drop yesterday, so it isn't surprising that champ has join a number of the LL kitties. I think they pooled their funds and bought a giant trampoline. :roll:

Patty, I figured out all the numbers of the old Feline Futures formula. It's about 32kcal/ounce. There is a TCfeline tab on Tess's SS for all the info.

NIce to see a Champ condo, glad to hear he's doing well even with these yucky numbers.

Is it the american thanksgiving this weekend? I've only got a northern-momma and she's a darn good cook, southern-momma cooking sounds pretty good too!!! :lol: :lol: I hope you enjoy your time with your family.

today's numbers are kind of ugly, but hopefully it's just because Champ is filling his shed. Tomorrow will be better (or maybe even tonight).

I gave up on the house projects I wanted to have done by Thanksgiving. Now I'm hoping to have them done by Christmas. We'll see about that. :lol:
 
Thanksgiving at your house sounds fabulous! Need any more guests?? Sorry your mom can't be as active as before, but it sounds like she can still cook up a storm. Enjoy your parents' visit. Maybe Champ will comply with some nice numbers.

Sorry about the stinkus pinkus! ((((Patty)))) I hope you got done what you needed. Don't stress yourself out too much.

We are definitely still on for Vegas. DS and I are there Jan 5-8. I think DH is not going now because of Charlie. Can't wait to see you!! :-D

I'm sorry things are getting tougher for your Mom. I hope you guys have a fabulous Thanksgiving together this year!

And, it's great to see a Champ condo, regardless of the numbers he's tossing out there. (Ann is right...it seems like the whole LL crew is working as a team to baffle and frustrate all the beans!!) We miss seeing you around here :YMHUG: !!!
 
Hi patty - it is so great to have a Champ condo! Sorry for the rotten numbers.... bee there too. I hope he brings them down for you soon.
