Quick question - I know that you should not prefill syringes with insulin ahead of time, but am wondering if it would likely be okay to fill his dose into a syringe and leave it in the fridge for about an hour or two before injection time? Tomorrow I have to go into the office for an all day event and want to make it easier on my fiance who will give his shot tomorrow morning, who isn't as comfortable judging where the rubber stopper should fall.

I’m not an expert but I do this every time my boyfriend has to shoot and haven’t noticed a difference in his numbers. It sits for about 1-3 hours. Hopefully a moderator can weigh in and give us their thoughts on it.

I think if you're pre-filling for a relatively short period, it's OK.
