Good morning,
Hoping all had gentleness of night.

Sootie's amps 161, appy testy but ate in bathtub (here we go again!). Shot skinny 0.25u.

Azalea a little wobbly when first getting about this morning, ate in spurts, was ok with eye drops. The right eye swelling seems a little less prominent this morning. Hoping this means healing. It's not receded (sign of rupture?) so am crossing paws.

Wishing all happy vibes and vines and no worries..

Good evening.
Called our vet this afternoon to bring Azalea in for fluids (this week twice, usually once weekly) and picked up a new packet of onsior the OV called in. To reg vetty, eye looks about same. To me, eye looks slightly less swollen but Azalea is feeling 'submerged' if that makes any sense. She likes the beef bone broth, ate more of it with freeze dried crumbles in it when we got home, and was ok with evening drops though she started rubbing face after third one (the pm glaucoma drop).

Sootie's pmps in the yellow . Checked twice. Second one higher but she did eat a little after the first pmps. then ate a good amt after second one. Did skinny 0.25u. Will recheck in awhile. Added fresh beef bone broth to everyone's fud today. Hoping Soots gets back on board with blue!

Wishing all sweet vines and healings galore for kitties and beans,:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Pm +4 at 11:41pm ET = 247
Thinking....Maybe fud...higher ratio of canned (wellness today) to freezedried raw cuz low on freeze dried.

I'm no expert but maybe a little bounce going on from those 114 blues range numbers? It's not a super bounce tho....looked more like a gentle swell! maybe more expert eyes have better info...but peeking at your spreadsheet that's what it looked like to me?

Thanks, Les. Fell asleep with Azalea, and got up to get her more fud and broth, and check on Sootie and all.
Sootie was up and about, and obliged a pm+8.5 of 132 !

I don't yet have the objective eyes to see when a bounce is a bounce, depot a depot etc. I understand them better than a few months ago, but haven't quite had the fullness of the 'by Jove You've got it' moment!

Would change in fud (in this case, low carb but prob more than freeze dried raw) trigger a bounce, whether it be a gentle swell or the dreaded perfect storm?

I'll defer to more experienced eyes but I'd wager a guess it was a little bounce? Your dose is the same so it's not NDW, you are feeding very LC food, and she's been pretty consistently in the bit higher blues and yellows but dropped into the blue-teens so I'm guessing teeny bounce? Body said uh oh better freak out, then said nah false alarm, we know these numbers..no need to rescue her.....? Just my non pro opinion looking at the SS. Haha I could be totally wrong too!!:)
It's funny, at least for some cats there seems to be a point when things change. Look at a Gussies spreadsheet..you can see that it looked pretty much like Sooties, yellows and trending lower blues. Then we hit 3.25 units and something changed, that was his magic dose. It's just finding where that is....it's the fine tuning that is mysterious! :cat:
