Good Morning, Lantus Land. :)

Something not known about me: one of my nicknames is "Disaster-prone Bad Luck Girl". Pinched a nerve in my back. Didn't think I'd be able to test this morning, but I pulled it off somehow.

But here's the important news: 188! I seem to be crossing my fingers so often, I'm afraid they'll lock that way, but... *crosses fingers*. No flukes, please! nailbite_smile

Super-cranky kitty this morning... but that was mostly because Mom tried to test him. I think she's not very well cut-out for it, and I admire her for trying. She gets so nervous that he just goes wild.

... next, the Moxi.

Good morning Bee, nice to see some blue on Rufus! Sorry about your back, I hope it feels better soon. How is Rufus' paw?

Thanks, Laurie. I'm sure the back will unwind itself soon enough. The wound on Rufus' paw is closed up and looking nice and clean, and although we are no longer using pain medication he is walking on it normally and going up and down stairs just as well.

... and now I have Amoixicillin all over me, :lol: .

Morning! Sorry to hear about your back .. I hope you start feeling better soon and Im glad to hear that rufus's paw is feeling better as well .. and this is a great amps to start the day with! I love blue ... Have a great day guys!

The back is HEALED! (amazing - last time I did that it took 3 weeks). That's not important, though. What is important is that Rufus is pulling a 113. This situation is so not the norm that I really am not sure how to handle it this time. He held his numbers well today, without appearing to drop low... Might I skim the dose down to 1.00u, or should I stick it?

have strips, LC, MC and HC on hand....

are u able to get a +1 as well?

Strips, HC, LC, can rig up some MC if it comes to that, and I can stay up as long as I have to. Stick the dose, I'm thinking. :lol:

IMHO I would stick with it and really try to get a +1, feeding along the way.

he could of dropped in between +5 and +6-ish...it's been a while since you've had tests around those times, if you can for next time, k?

Ok, Rufus these days likes to graze on dinner. Do you think that would be sufficient, or would you feed him more?

grazing is ok, just make sure he eats along the way, early in the cycle, or you may have some steep drops.
Numbers are nice today thou - hope it works out tonight!

140 Food spike; the better he feels the more violent he acts - poor J-F just got batted on the head (but no scratches to be seen).
