Morning ALL,
Let's see what today brings me besides SNOW! Hopefully Rocket will take it easy on me....i'm home all day...so we'll see what happens and hopefully he won't drop like a stone so quickly! :YMSIGH:

btb for 1/2 hr...then meds and fluids at 6 am (moving fluids back to regular time which is 1/2 hr after AMPS)

will report at +1 to see where he is at.....

fed him at AMPS and now at +1 104.4 so fed him a little bit again...see what happens from here.... nailbite_smile

feeding a little more see if that helps...should i test in 1/2 hr or 1 hr at this point?

You could wait an hour to test....but if you are curious, it's always ok to test more often.

No stone droppage -- in fact, it's looking quite surf-like. Very nice job of feeding the curve.

he is still dropping even after feeding each test...is this normal?

Claudia it is ok.....Rocket is surfing. The 72 and 68 are really very close and I would not consider a dropping number.
You can feed a little bit of lc to keep him surfing. You are doing great. :mrgreen:

sorry...i only ask cause my meter is in mmol and the number is lower each time
+1 5.8 then +2 4.4 then +3 4 then +4 3.8

No problem.....you can ask as many questions as you like. We want you to feel comfortable with the lower numbers. It can be scary when they are dropping.

PMPS 129.6.....he ate at +11.5....forgot to take away his dish though he didn't have much in it....still he ate...

let's see how the rest of the evening goes with him.....

fed at +1 and he hid under the bed...so no testing...
+2 68.4 fed again....
he seems to drop oh so quickly.....
testing again in 1/2 hr

i fed him at +2 just a little bit....but then DH had put Rocket's food on his bowl without me knowing :shock: and so Rocket ate more than i wanted to.....

will let him be for a little bit and then retest.....1 hr is ok to retest, right?

Hi guys! What a great day for Rocket - very nice numbers. Rocket had a great green surf, and looks like he is going to go for it again tonight. You did great - nice job (!!!) of feeding the curve.

he is already going up :cry: short lived i guess!!!

will try to test before i go to bed (roughly in 1 1/2 hrs).......
 
no drama tonight!
he is eating shortly after +5....reporting again tomorrow

so if you please look at his SS....does that mean he needs his dose increased back to where it was before?

No increase Claudia....it looks like Rocket is doing fine with this dose. :mrgreen:
