Yesterday lots of blue, a touch of yellow. I think I did a partial furshot in the evening. I could smell Lev. Numbers would be higher this morning it it was a full fur shot.

Kitty cat alarm clocks went off almost the same time as the cell phone alarm this morning. There was the usual eagerness to eat from Neko, although civie Theo was slower than usual to get started. It was kangaroo this morning, normally he inhales that. It's a new batch from the manufacturer, I hope they haven't done anything different to it. There was a tiny bit left in the dish for Neko to polish. That makes her so happy - she just pounces on any leftovers and pushes him out of the way, with her little growl of victory. :lol: I've taken to calling her the "land shark". As soon as she finishes her own meal and heads towards Theo, the Jaws theme music sounds in my head.

Another typical November day here (rainy), cats are curled up in their beds inside. DH is painting in the solarium, but it holds no interest for them.

Hi Wendy! Sounds like a nice quiet rainy day there! I like your breakfast description - must be quite a zoo there, shark vs. kangaroo :lol: . . . and I'd have to say I didn't know kangaroo came in cat food!

Well bummer on the partial furshot. I will hope not, and even if so, the amps isn't too bad... I hope you surfed well today Neko.

I can so her that shark music.... Bug is like that: He takes his time with his, but will also make sure he gets the others too. He's funny though: is very polite about it . He sits and waist for them (usually Elsa) to lift the head, or turn and bam (!) in he goes. Silly cats. I often have to fee Elsa alter as he eats all her fuds!

It too has been a typical November day here: lots of gray, lots of drizzle... All here are also bed dwellers today, even crazy Lola.

I hope your day has been a good one. :-D

That confirms the partial fur shot. :roll: Oh well, I hope she'll come down a bit for the PM.

@Amy - My kitters eat raw food, kangaroo is their favorite protein. It's low fat. I call it a "mouse"upial. Cats think it's a giant mouse. :lol:

@Rhiannon - I knew someone couldn't resist the set up. :lol: :lol: I can't imagine Neko riding one of those. :evil:

@Michelle - Inverse curve day. :roll: There's always tonight. Cats are funny at food time. I think sometimes Theo lets Neko in at his food so he can sniff and lick her head. He can get away with anything when there is food involved. :lol: Forecast for rest of the week is looking much better. :-D

@Liz - Too bad you didn't see a meal when you were here. It's quite entertaining. :lol: Neko joined Zener on the pink floor. :oops:

@Carla - Usually the first couple of cycles after a fur shot are a write off. Maybe back on track tonight.

Phooey on the fur shot! Come on, Neko, it was only a partial fur shot. Let's get back on track!!

We had a mild, rainy day here today, too. It reminded me of my 2 years in the PNW (Seattle). I rode a bike to the university. Whenever I stepped outside the rain would change from a drizzle to a downpour (at least it seemed so!)

Have a fine evening, Wendy. Where do you buy kangaroo meat?? Raw, at that!!

p.s. We put our canoes away yesterday and I put my bikes away today. But it's too early for the skis and the snowshoes. That leaves the hiking boots!
