Yesterday, back to her usual tricks, bouncette day and lagoon detail at night. :roll:

Nothing witty to say here today - I'm just feeling so sad for Dyana. Gentleman JD was such a part of LL. Fly free sweet boy.

Same old, same old Neko today. She's been doing some spontaneous purring which I love and coming seeking cuddles. Makes Theo crazy jealous.

DH took the car today as he needs to do some work to close the family cabin for the winter. It involves a ferry ride to a different island. I'll be at home, unless I go for a hike. I'd like to, it's a good way to clear ones thoughts and remember.

Nothing better than kitty's cuddles and head butts. We all are so sad today. Wish there was a way to ease her pain.

It's a sad day in LantusLand. :cry: J.D. was a legend and Dyana helps so many beans. We hurt for her.

Yep, It truly has been another sad day in LL today, and I imagine will be for quite awhile as we have lost another icon in JD. rb_icon But yet, here's Neko, unaware, purring contentedly, asking for love and scritches- you have to love that! :YMHUG: :YMHUG: Please give Theo some love from Tiger and I as well!

Hi Wendy,
We all feel sad today and our thoughts are with Dyana tonight.

But Neko had a good day and some nice time in the lagoon. Rusty was glad to see her. Hope your DH didn't discover any surprises when he went to close up the cabin for the winter.

Neko did have a decent day and is poised to drift down again. At this rate, civie Theo is getting a lot of reinforcement that 4:30AM is time to get up for treats. :roll:

@Carla, Elise, Liz, Ruth, Ella - Thanks for visiting. Neko had a little nanner play but didn't want out today. She's going to regret that with the forecast rains. I did get out on a woods walk - nothing like silence except for the sound of running water to clear ones mind. I kept seeing squirrels scampering away, which reminded me of Dyana again. DH had a good day at the cottage - best of all, only a good surprise - found someone to help with the deck rebuild next spring.
 
Nice day all around for Neko and family. I'm glad you got to take a good walk - it really is a great way to clear your mind and come to peace with things.

It is hard not to hurt for Dyana, and indeed for ourselves. I think we were all vested in J.D.'s well-being. He was such a special kitty and he was part of our family for so long. I hope our grief and sympathy will help Dyana through this. Having a family means we all rejoice together and we all grieve together. None of us have to go through this alone. We are all very fortunate to have found a home here.

I hope Neko keeps up the good numbers into tomorrow.
