Good morning,

Yesterday's condo

11/17 AMPS=149; +2=178; +5.5=214
11/17 PMPS=173; +2=164; +6.5=185

11/18 AMPS=148; +2=117; +3=144; +10.75=151
11/18 PMPS=164; +2=124

Lucy was happy and purry this morning (until I grabbed a hold of her for a poke).
She ate her 1st breakfast well by finger-feeding, and now is lying comfortably.
She sleeps awfully a lot these days.... I hope it's normal for a senior cat.
At least she is comfy.

Ginger ate her breakfast really well, and is following me around for more.
This might not be her true appetite since the Mirtazapine from yesterday is still in effect.
(Marje - Yes, they told me one every 3 days. She got one at the vet, and I didn't ask for any to take home.)
She pooped overnight, so that's a "Yay".
And since she's eating, NO hospitalization!!!! Super Yay!

I hope everyone's having a nice day!

Re: 11/18 Lucy AMPS=148

Wonderful reports on both Lucy and Ginger. I do think ALL kitties sleep a lot - it's one of their main job tasks! Hooray for no hospitalization and poop and eating! Hopefully Ginger is over the hump of whatever it was that was making her feel bad. Have a great day, Mariko!

Re: 11/18 Lucy AMPS=148

Great WCR :-D :-D
So glad to hear Ginger is eating and no hospital :thumbup Good girl Ginger cat_pet_icon
I also think thats mostly what cats do... I-) I-) I-) Awwww the life of a cat ;-) Especially a FDMB cat
I hope Lucy is just being a cat
Have a great day Mariko!

Re: 11/18 Lucy AMPS=148;+2=117

+2 is 117, and Lucy is feeling so much better at this range.
She is up and about, exploring the kitty jungle gym.
I'll grab a +3 to make sure she doesn't dive before leaving for work since she had sub-q fluids last night.....

Re: 11/18 Lucy AMPS=148;+2=117

I'm glad Ginger is eating and won't have to go back to the vet. It's good to hear Lucy is happy & purry. Nice slide down so far today. My senior kitties sleep a lot too.

Re: 11/18 Lucy PMPS=164 // Ginger's b/w OK!

Both Lucy and Ginger ate their 1st dinner well.
Especially Lucy, she ate better than any recent days.
I even thought she might eat it on her own... but she wanted me to finger-feed, so I did.
Nevertheless, she ate it more enthusiastically then usual this evening.

Ginger's lab results came back looking all good! :-D
Except the kidney values which we already knew about and weren't any worse.
No pancreatitis either.
So it's a mystery why she didn't eat but she's eating now and that's what's important.
The vet said she probably got a little dehydrated and then constipated and her tummy didn't feel so good.
Ginger is now a senior kitty with kidney issue, so maybe it's too much to ask of her to be happy and full of energy all the time, every day of the year.

Re: 11/18 Lucy PMPS=164 // Ginger's b/w OK!

More great news for Ginger...you must be relieved! Hopefully Ginger is back on track now...keep eating and feeling good, little one. You too, Lucy!!! And you TOO, Mariko!!

Re: 11/18 Lucy PMPS=164 // Ginger's b/w OK!

Yay on the bw! Sounds like Ginger is feeling much better :-D As for Lucy sleeping alot, cats average 15 hours of sleep/day and older kitties or kitties not feeling good will sleep up to 20 hours/day. That's how they conserve their energy :-D I am not this 'rattle it off the top of my head' brilliant...I looked it up

Have a great night Mariko

Well, it would definitely be too much to ask of ME . . . but I'm glad it seems to have just been an off day for Ginger. Have a nice evening, Mariko (and I answered in my condo, but no, it's not a belly button  )

GREAT news :-D occasionally Gus seems to get A tiny bit of constipation which can make him nauseous. Then he will poo and throw up :? I usually give him an ondansetron after he's sick because he has residual nausea. That helps him immensely.

Nice blue day for Miss Lucy!
