yesterday's condo
Jude started on Clavamox yesterday, and we made a dose increase last night. His numbers appear to be coming down a bit already, at least from yesterday's stinkies. We haven't seen the blues in four days! Jude's first Clavamox dose was yesterday at 11 a.m., and last night when I put his food out, he wasn't much interested. He ate enough once I sprinkled some topper on it. As I was lying in bed last night, having a 3 a.m. worry session, it dawned on me that I'd forgotten about the side effect of inappetence with Clavamox. I didn't actually know that it was a common side effect until the last time he was on it, about a month ago, and someone here mentioned it. He was, again, not too interested in his food this morning, which is unusual for him, but I was able to get enough down him to give his insulin. I hope it doesn't get worse as we go. At 17.9 lbs., it's not as though he can't stand to lose some weight, but I just hope he'll eat enough for the insulin. It's always something.
Have a nice day, everyone! Safe surfs, kittens!
