yesterday's condo

Jude started on Clavamox yesterday, and we made a dose increase last night. His numbers appear to be coming down a bit already, at least from yesterday's stinkies. We haven't seen the blues in four days! Jude's first Clavamox dose was yesterday at 11 a.m., and last night when I put his food out, he wasn't much interested. He ate enough once I sprinkled some topper on it. As I was lying in bed last night, having a 3 a.m. worry session, it dawned on me that I'd forgotten about the side effect of inappetence with Clavamox. I didn't actually know that it was a common side effect until the last time he was on it, about a month ago, and someone here mentioned it. He was, again, not too interested in his food this morning, which is unusual for him, but I was able to get enough down him to give his insulin. I hope it doesn't get worse as we go. At 17.9 lbs., it's not as though he can't stand to lose some weight, but I just hope he'll eat enough for the insulin. It's always something.

Have a nice day, everyone! Safe surfs, kittens!

Sorry to hear he possibly has UTI. Hopefully it can be resolved with antibiotics and his tummy doesn't get too upset. Also hoping you can get some food into him. It's always aomething with these furry babies, but you're doing so wonderful.
Sending more healing vines for Jude

Always so tough when you can’t shut off your mind from running through everything that’s happening. Hopefully the realization allowed you to get some rest, good thing to note about the appetite! Glad you could get some food into him too and that his numbers are coming down. Feel better, Jude 😊🍃❤️‍🩹
