@Bandit's Mom I think I might need some guidance tonight. His numbers are already trending back up from is +2 but i am not sure when i can trust its ok to go to sleep .

Hello there again @Bandit's Mom. Yes I fed some medium carb at +3 because he was back at 97 now he is at 127 at +4

OK. You don't need to feed MC when he has flat cycles like tonight. 116 to 97 is your regular flat gentle Lantus cycle

@Bandit's Mom ok, I wasn't sure what to think because he went from 97 at +2 to 101 at +2.5 and the back down to 97 at +3 and thought he might keep dropping. Thanks for explaining to me, I still worry and feel unsure sometimes of what to expect. I'm so very greatful for your guidance and expertise. Have a good noght. I'm gunna head off to bed for the night in that case.

When looking at numbers, you have to consider meter variance which can be as much as 20%. Basically 101 and 97 are the same number. So he was flat from +2 to +3.
