My thoughts are with Dyana today...sending lots of love and vines to her and Ginger.
Billie is doing well. She had a nice blue AM. I was expecting her Aerokat today, but it will actually be here tomorrow.
She seems to have more side effects from the pred this time than she did last time around, which is odd since her starting dose is only half what it was. She just seems a little weird for maybe 8 hours or so after each dose kicks in. She is totally ravenous and drinking more, and she seems a little restless or on edge maybe? I don't know what to call it. She also had two weird poo incidents, once last night and once this afternoon, where she had a giant poo (solid and healthy looking but like twice the size of her usual poos), came out of the box scooting, and dropped a couple extra turds on the carpet. I have no idea why that is happening. But, she's playing, preening, and seems to be feeling okay overall.
I am anxious to taper the pred and was thinking of starting the every other day dosing today instead of tomorrow, but maybe I'll give her one more dose tonight. We shall see. She hasn't coughed since Sunday night, and that episode was not too bad, so it is certainly helping.
