The first half of the bloodwork came through which was the CBC panel: All was within normal ranges. The panal also included tests for FIV (Gary is FIV+), leukemia, thyroid etc. All his numbers were normal including the WBC and eosinphiles. confused_cat

We're still waiting to get results on the Fungal and Toxoplasmosis. He is hoping to get them yet today, but will have them by tomorrow. If those are negative then we will start steroid treatment for a sterile inflammatory response.

This is all the tests they can do short of a biopsy/lavage for lung cancer.

Hi Beth, This sounds encouraging. How is Attie feeling today? Rusty and I are sending lots of healing vines this evening. I hope you will have a good lab report tomorrow.

:YMHUG: :YMHUG: s for Attie and for you,

Thanks Ella and Rusty for the support..

He is still lousy. wheezing, coughing, trying to cough...gurgles when he trys to purr...

Funny...but a good lab report would be a hit on fungal or toxo... ohmygod_smile

Great news Beth on the lab results! I hope they get it figured out so you can plan a path forward!

Re: 11/18 Atlas (partial vet results in)

I hope the outstanding tests hold the answer so appropriate treatment can begin and Attie can get well soon.

Mannie and I are keeping you in our thoughts. I am glad that the BW etc came back within range, especially the FIV. Be better Attie - we luvs ya!

Sending big hugs, Beth. I, too, hope and pray that we will have an answer that is totally treatable and curable. Better PMPS tonight!
