Zener is doing fine this morning. His appy started out ok then faded. We'll keep chasing with the bowl as needed. :roll: :lol: He did a little yard patrol then settled down to nap with Annebeen on the bed. I need to go check him.

OT: Tillie ate a tiny bit this morning. I will have to try some other flavors. The ferals got New Zealand rabbit this morning. I hope they appreciate it. I did see one of the black kittens for a few seconds before he freaked out and ran off.

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans. Happy Sunday, LL!

Sending appy vines your way for both kitties. Seems to be a trend going on right now that lots of kitties are not eating as they should... However, I am sure the ferals are more than thrilled with their yummy bunny meal!
Hopefully all kitties will get snacking this afternoon!! :smile:

Have you tried the Forti Flora with Zener to get him to eat? I've also tried warming Blackie's food and then sprinkling the Forti Flora ontop in order to get her to eat, and it seems to work (knocking on wood). Sending tons of wonderful appy vibes for Zener, and I hope that he starts to eat better very soon. Have a good day!

Thanks everyone for the appy vines. Zener's numbers are heading back toward the lagoon and thankfully appy has picked back up. We managed to get civvie Tilly to eat a small bowl of fuds. Having two IBD kitties is going do the beans in. :YMSIGH:

Thanks Angela! The Fortiflora is indeed a miracle for Zener! We also use the warming trick but we warm water and put that on his fuds. We add extra water because Zener is in early stage of CKD. We've been looking for something that would work like Fortiflora. Since we've been using several packets a day on his fuds to keep him eating, we worry about it constipating him. Tess (Ann & Tess) told us about a liver powder she uses to entice Tess to eat raw and we ordered some of that. Zener seems to like it as much as the Fortiflora, and it is working right now (knock on wood)!

Sending loads and loads of eating vines to AZ! I'm glad that Zener likes the liver powder. I don't think that Fortiflora would caused constipation though. It is probiotic which replenishes the natural good bacteria in the gut. It helps w/ both diarrhea and constipation by balancing the natural digestion in the gut, so it shouldn't cause either.

Hey Z Man! Hey Tillie, I hope you'll enjoy the full moon party food tonight and eat lots of it! Have you looked at the menu? It's in the party condo. Tillie: beavers are big rodents; they are going to be our hosts and we will get to visit their lodge! Fantastic, huh?

I'm glad Zener's appy has picked up and he likes the liver powder. I hope Tillie's appy gets better. What lucky ferals with getting rabbit to eat.

I am glad that Zener's appy has picked up. YAY on that. I wills end asome appy vines for Tillie. I can only imagine how difficult it is with two IBD kitties. Eat your fuds guys. It's nice to read that Zener likes the forti-flora. Mannie loved it once,and wouldn't touch it again. silly cat. Z-man, I am glad you like it. Good luck to all.

WOOT WOOT!! What a fantastic day! Looks like Zener is all set to partay tonight!

So cool on the feral getting rabbit. :cool: Always good to know the rejects are going to a worthy cause. Eat your fuds you two, or I'm going to have to send some extra strength appy vines on the bus with Neko.

Very nice day for Zener! Trix loves FortiFlora, too...it has come in very handing when she decided she was sooooo sick of Wellness. Eating vines coming your way for both kitties....have a great night, guys!

I am sorry you were dealing with kitties not eating well earlier today, but I'm so glad both Zener and Tillie had happy appy this evening! :-D
