Good Saturday Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night sleeping with his beans. This morning we had good everything with one exception: when I was giving him his shot I accidentally kneeled on his tail! Poor Rusty "spoke" some very loud meows. But he forgave me and we had a good schmooze after breakfast. Now he is napping in his little bed by the radiator. It is rather mild this morning (31 degrees), but tonight is supposed to go down to 13! That is cold for this time of the year.

Activities today include the farmers' market, shopping, and cleaning. An old friend and neighbor from when we had our house in Brooklyn is going to be in town and is coming to dinner. It will be great to see him. Edward is baking a special loaf of bread.

Sending Moonie all those requested POO VINES and hoping she is feeling better and better. Healing vines to all kitties and beans who are under the weather: feel better soon!

OUCH! poor Rusty's tail.... I am glad he forgave you. Mannie read that and this was his thoughts: He said he was so glad that he doesn't have one. :lol:

Oh WOW on that 13! ok that is ay to cold.... BRRRRR! I hope some sun comes with that. I have to admit that I really love cold frosty sunny mornings.

Enjoy your day today, and the time with your friend. How fun to be able to have him for dinner. YAY!

Lovely numbers!!! Oops on the tail!! I've done that to Champ, but he doesn't say a word...he just scrabbles up and runs!!! That's just about the only time I see that much action out of him!!

Hi guys, thanks for visiting our condo last night. Well you were right, I went to the dr's this morning and have pink eye! Ugh, not fun but glad I got meds so it will get better before Thanksgiving!
Poor Rusty getting his tail kneeled on bet that didn't feel good. But our furbabies are so forgiving so that is good! Hope you have a nice night, looking good numberwise!

Hi again,
Rusty had a great green day. He was the perfect host when our old friend was here. My dinner (bison chili from a local bison farm--pasture raised, grass fed, humanely slaughtered) was really good. I think it was the best chili I have ever made (and I make a good chili) and I attribute it to the splendid meat. (Yes, I know I fell off the vegetarian wagon tonight, Serryn!)

Talked to Roni this afternoon and she sounded really good. All the pieces seem to be falling into place with regard to the house and the temporary apartment. The best thing is that Moonie is feeling and acting so much better and has been eating and making solid contributions to her litterbox. Fingers and paws crossed that she will continue to improve.
