Yesterday had a nice yellow started and zoomed to red during the day, followed by a pink (and probably yellow) evening. Today we start the morning with exactly the same PS as last night, but a bit more action. She also got a dosecrease to try to shake loose some greens into the SS.

11/16 Recap:
AMPS 221 +4 432 +9 452
PMPS 385 +4 335

Neko was very active this morning after breakfast. After the main meal and each snack she wanted out. After +1 she was chasing bugs on the deck. After +3 she hunched down and ran down the steps like she was stalking something. I presume there was a bird on the ground. She didn't get anything but it's good to see her active and trying (but especially good to see her miss). It was quite windy so I was surprised to see she wanted out so much. Neko just got back in after her +3 jaunt when the skies opened up. Also good she was in because a hawk showed up in our front birch tree. It was a smaller one, but I've never seen one in our yard before. Now it's snooze time for kitties.

Friends are coming over later and there will be a winter tire changing party. They are also bring me some apple tea from their trip to Turkey. Yumm!! I got addicted when I was there may years ago and if I ever hear of someone is going there, I get them to get me some. It's a great winter decaf drink.

Glad Neko is sliding down.
Maybe Green tonite?

I'm sure you are referring to a small hawk, right?
I don't know what kind of hawks you have but I sure get nervous when I see people posting video's of their cats on the porch with
Eagles or other large birds of prey. I don't think those people realize that the bird is thinking of dinner. nailbite_smile

And yet again she is teasing me with the not quite green colours. Oh well, it's a nice normal number.

@Rhiannon - I think it was either a smaller Coopers hawk or a sharp shinned hawk. It was just a little bit bigger than a flicker, which is what I first thought it was, maybe 12 inches. Many years ago, my aunt came outside her place to see a golden eagle starting to lift her cat off the ground. She intervened and saved the cat (a small size one), but it did cause some nasty punctures. We have a tree with a lot of berries on it now, and subsequently birds, and I suspect that is what the hawk was watching.

Zener is proud of Neko's slide today! Maybe some greens tonight? Hawks make me nervous too.

Re: 11/17 Neko PMPS 137

PMPS 137 :-D :-D :-D
Neko was making "starving here" noises for an hour before dinner. She's out of practice being this low this late in the cycle.

@Liz - Neko is pleased that Zener likes her slide. She often has a late nadir which is part of it, but nice to see she kept it blue.

@Carla - Best slide for Neko for a while. I hope she'll do something with this. Turns out no apple tea today. We are going there for dinner tomorrow and will pick it up then.
