Good day everyone!
Morgaine is doing okay today but still peeing outside of her box or rather in the box with her butt up so it goes half in and half out. She keeps it in the bathroom and I have not let her into my bedroom since I really can't clean it up. Trying to get the Baytril into her is quite a challenge but we are getting it done. I did get some Duck and Pea pill pockets today and gave her a couple to see if she likes them. Well, she does so next dose we will try that. Meanwhile, I have wasted 2 doses trying to get it into her. Vet will send me a few more doses. Morgaine is stronger than me, and that is a good thing since she is maintaining her strength. It is hard for me to hold onto her for anything that needs to get done. Meanwhile, we are doing okay.
Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions and prayers. Would like to ask for continued prayers for Morgaine. I am really concerned about her kidneys right now. The peeing has slowed down but last night she was peeing large amounts of urine and drinking a lot. Seems to have subsided for now with much less drinking and peeing. She ate so her appetite is very good.
Her BG on the FS was 113 this AM but according to what i am finding as I test myself with both the FS and the Precision, that would be 160-170 on the Precision meter. Am awaiting the relion. Thelma has graciously offered to send us Calistica's supplies and my heart goes out to them for their loss and their kind generosity. Thank you Thelma and Ray!
Finally, I just want to express my gratitude to LL and FDMB for all the love and support. This sure is one special place.
Marje, I hope you are feeling much better. will try to get to some condos but right now my cleaning gals are here and they are getting the pee pee odor cleaned up.
