I have supplies and can monitor. He had his normal LC breakfast. I just did a 2nd test and he went up to 60.
Was this after food? When you get a lower preshot than you are comfortable shooting, you want to stall without feeding and test in 20 mins to see if he is rising.

It was about 15 minutes after eating. I didn't see this until now. I shot his normal dose. How often should I test to start.
So the second test wasn’t food influenced. I wanted to know that. It was still fine to shoot if over 50 though. Get a +1 and +2.

Good clarification. Since Max always has food available, my version of withholding food is not taking his available LC food and giving it a dusting of freeze dried chicken breast and then presenting it to Max in bed.Congrats on the reduction!
You don't need to encourage them to drop below 50 by withholding food. Just like you don't want to avoid one if you are propping them up with HC. When they are ready for a reduction, they will tell you. Till then it's best to keep them at a good dose!

He is now at 25. He is eating 22% now.
He's at 56 @ about +2.5. He ate the 22% and I did some Karo syrup on his gums. He is acting fine so far.
Was he 56 or 25? At 56, Karo was not needed. Just HC is okay.

He's up to 70 @ +3. In the future I'll do a 2nd test, but seeing the 25 made me must want to get something in him to bring him up. How often do you think I should feed & test going forward?
