Morning Pattie. This color just doesn't do it, does it? It's boring Harley.....can you please come down? This is your 4th cycle on this dose, so it's about time for some activity, ya know?
Just wondering when you opened this insulin. It doesn't show on your SS...does it~~did I miss it?
Are you using Lantus Pattie?
ETA: I know that some higher dose kitties switch over to Levemir....just wondering if you have given that any thought...

morning guys! Yes a higher pink to start the day but as usual mocha is there welcoming all the other pink kitties this morning from her well worn spot ... hopefully they both decide to do some action today and come down some ... have a great day guys!

I opened the bottle of Lantus 10/20. I got some pens from Boo but don't know how to use them - how do I warm them etc.
I need to say that I am depressed today over my guy (I know you are tired of my whining). Nothing seems to work, insulin needs keep going up and I am fretting over the fact I cannot give the shot in the spot my vet says it HAS to go.
Oh well, Harley seems happy so that is what counts.

Harley is now 404 +4. He did jump and growl at me today when I gave the shot, so I am not sure if it got in right. Not a fur shot - no wetness. I can feel ketones coming on although he was negative this AM. Suggestions?

Pattie, have you tried to call to see if the IAA test is back yet?
From some reason, I was driving to work, and knew you were depressed when I didn't see you post before I left for work this morning. I can understand.
J.D. has been diabetic since 2005, so it's been a long road for us. Hang in there.

I did call about results of the IAA last Friday and the response from the receptionist was "when we find it, we will call you." So, I am not calling until Friday - it would be 15 days (11 business days) since they drew blood. I know that there will be some lag time since it goes to Michigan but I think 11 days is awfully long.

A decent end of the day - still pink but lower than the 404 of +4.
