Happy Hump Day LL!! I have more time to do condos today! dancing_cat I have a doc appt so don't have to leave until later. I can't wait to catch up on your sugarbabies.

WCR: 3Ps in place...not a lot of romping around yet this morning. Except when she first got FD and until her insulin kicked in, Gracie always slept cuddled up in my arms since we got her at 13 weeks old . She usually goes to bed with me and then Mike sneaks in and "borrows" her for a few minutes while he tests and then puts her back with me but she didn't come to bed with me last night and didn't sleep with us until about 4 this morning. When she did come to bed, she gave me some wonderful cuddles and I was so relieved. Those reds last night freaked us both out and we were trying to keep it into perspective...one cycle, blue yesterday, yadda yadda. While I am not thrilled for her to have a pink AMPS, esp after the one she had yesterday, it is alot lower than last night. So we are ready for her new dose to kick in and help us get these numbers down and flatter. I still think that when she is not bouncing, her PSs are lower without the +9. Unfortunately, she gets hungry...we've been trying to give her a tiny, very LC +6 snack. Brighter day today...I can feel it!!!!

BTW, thanks Ann and Michelle for the niptinis last night....I know we were supposed to give them to Gracie but we needed them more :lol: :lol: Hope you don't mind that we added some vermouth, vodka, and gin. :lol: :lol: Have a great day everyone!

Marjorie, Ess being sleeping in my arms since she was a baby tooo. Its truely the best, I feel so lost when she isnt w/me, and in my arms.

Gracie, Girl, Girl, Girl, enough of the pink, I know you look "pretty in pink", but I bet you look good in the "sunny yellow too"; Yah, you know Im not going to be satisfied until I see some Blue and Green on yah tooooo.

Well, pink is a lot better than red. Remember, Patience! (I know I'm one to talk)! And there is NDW to take into account for any increase, numbers can get worse for a couple of days.

Morning! pink seems to be the color... Mannie too. Here's hoping that those two can find the yellow floor today. So true on what Ann said about NDW when you increase. Mannie was/is subject to that - always a couple of days with higher numbers. She'll adjust soon.

Love the kitty cuddles... so nice!

68 at 4.5. It would be great if she could surf this for a few after her big numbers the last couple of days. Not feeding this one, will recheck in 30. Hoping she holds steady and then I can let up on her ears a little.

I was telling Mike last night that we might not see any new dose action for a few cycles due to the shed and NDW so I don't know if this is her old dose finally deciding to kick in or a little old dose/new dose or what but we'll be closely watching her at this dose. Thanks on the doc wishes....normal chick gig ya know? :evil:

It's been amazing as I've seen Mike transform from the first day by himself of low numbers where he was kinda nailbite_smile to his normal, very calm pilot self whipping around the different % carb foods like he's been doing it his whole life. :lol: :lol:

Still at 68 at +5. Not feeding this one again. The boss lady wants me to check her again in 30 minutes. Thats a good idea, but Gracie is starting to give me the stink eye. Oh well, hopefully she'll get over it. After all, I'm the one with opposable thumbs that can open cans.

DH here - Funny niptini picture Marjorie posted. Anyway, 67 at 5.5. What an awesome cycle. Marjorie and I were talking about what an emotional roller coaster (hands and feet inside the car please) this process is. Yesterday/last night we were really bummed out. Wondering if something was wrong with the Lantus, maybe Gracie has a little infection, God forbid she is becoming insulin resistant, blah blah blah. And 12 hours later we are elated and so happy for the little girl. I'm going to give her a small lo-carb snack at +6 and test again at 6.5.

eta: from marjorie...he's giving her a very small lc snack because she is hungry and Jill said we don't want hungry kitties and it's better to give at peak then towards the end of the cycle.

:RAHCAT :RAHCAT :RAHCAT Yeah :!: Marjorie and DH we both came out of the pinks into the greens :mrgreen: and concerned what ifs It's hard when the kitties are bouncers like Gracie and Powder are. Just when we think maybe somethings wrong, things go right. I'm so happy for all of us. BTW Powder isn't as peppy today either. Maybe reds effect their energy even after they have been feeling better.
Thanks for the info about Scheyder I won't make that mistake again. :roll: I've bought pouches of food from Walmart just for the gravy. I don't usually have Sophisticsts DD fiance decided not to feed wet to his kitten ohmygod_smile even though I told them I made a mistake feeding dry and sent them to Dr. Pierson's site. Can't tell some people anything so I just hope he will be fine. I still haven't heard anything from Castor&Pollux as to their as fed info. I also haven't found Friskies shredded beef in gravy info do you have it.
Your condo is so much fun to read. Oh my that rollercoaster was hysterical as was the Jekyll and Hyde pix

Love all the photos today - i remember the roller coaster one - that would be Mannie in the back on the left. it's so him. Right you both are- the whole sugar dance we are on - what a roller coaster ride...

Gracie has had a great cycle today - even made green. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: SWEET! I can't wait to see what she does tonight.

Not too sure if Mannie is missing anything... all of a sudden there now is a padlock on the storage chest in his space. hmmmmmmm - highly suspicious. i have found a few bungees laying around however, so maybe Gracie is safe. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Truth be told - I hold my breath every test i take. silly, but i do. one would think that after all this time we would be used to the variables that are out there. every time i think i know what to expect he throws me a curve ball. sure does make it interesting... and frustrating... and nerve wracking.... and rewarding.

that kitty in the coaster just looks like him. :lol: :lol: his personality is a it more subdued, but when he's excited it is so him. The bungees are sequestered. :lol: :lol: not too sure on his storage cabinet... that showed up today, and his lips are sealed... not talking - he was muttering about not being late for his niptini class... hmmmm, time for some kitty parenting. :lol: :lol: :lol:

DH back at the switch. 65 at 3.5, I think thats far enough fast enough. Gave her a small amount of 5% with some 9% gravy. Hope theres something good on tv tonight.
